Sai was truly exhausted. After being on duty for an entire day without sleep, his mind was completely drained.
Although he faintly heard unusual sounds coming from Ino's bedroom next door, he paid them no mind and quickly drifted into deep sleep.
In his dream, the strange noises seemed to grow louder—like two wild beasts clashing, or perhaps two snakes entwined together, writhing endlessly.
Still, Sai simply assumed it was part of his dream and slept soundly.
Kaien and Ino lingered for a long time before finally going downstairs quietly. By then, the meal Sai had prepared had long gone cold.
Yet Ino didn't even glance at the bowl of rice. Her eyes were fixed only on Kaien.
"Are you leaving already?" she asked softly in the living room, holding him tightly, reluctant to let go.
"Mm. Brother Naruto arranged special training for me with Sister Tenten," Kaien replied with a nod.
Of course, he didn't want to leave either.
But Naruto had suddenly called, asking where he was and mentioning that Tenten had been waiting for quite some time.
Only then did Kaien remember today's training session.
"Alright… train well. Whenever you're free, come find your Sister Ino." She buried her face against his chest and added in a muffled voice, "I'm available anytime."
After everything that had happened, she no longer cared whether Sai was home. As long as Kaien wanted her, she was ready—any time, any moment.
"Mm." Kaien gently patted her back.
"Kiss me before you go."
She lifted her pretty face and blinked up at him expectantly.
Kaien leaned down and captured her red lips. After a deep, lingering kiss, the two finally separated.
"I'm leaving."
He waved before turning and walking away.
Ino stood there watching his departing figure, her eyes filled with reluctance.
Only after he disappeared from sight did she return upstairs. The bowl of rice on the table remained untouched.
She was exhausted as well. From yesterday afternoon until late at night—and again from morning until now—she had barely rested.
She needed sleep.
After leaving Ino's house, Kaien headed straight for the training ground.

"Another ten draws?" Kaien frowned.
He now had thirty accumulated draws.
Yoshino rewarded ten. Sakura rewarded ten. Ino rewarded ten.

"Should I try a ten-consecutive draw and test my luck?" he wondered.
After thinking for a moment, he shook his head.
"Forget it. I'm only 100 passion points short. I'll save them."
He pushed the temptation aside and continued toward the training ground.
When Kaien arrived, Tenten was already training alone.
Her attire was unmistakable: a white, seven-quarter-sleeved Chinese-style martial arts top paired with red trousers, giving her a clean and sharp appearance.
"Hmph!"
She noticed his arrival and immediately stopped.
"Hi! Sister Tenten!" Kaien jogged over to greet her.
"What took you so long? Do you know how long I've been waiting?" Tenten said, feigning anger. Her twin buns made her expression look especially cute.
Sweat dotted her forehead, dampening her white uniform and causing it to cling to her figure, subtly outlining her curves.
Her breathing was steady but heavy from training.
"I'm sorry, Sister Tenten. I was wrong," Kaien said meekly, lowering his head.
Tenten sighed helplessly and wiped the sweat from her brow.
"Enough talking. Let's begin your special training."
"What are we training today?" Kaien asked.
"I'll throw kunai and shuriken at you. You dodge."
Kaien blinked. "Uh… isn't that a little dangerous?"
Might Guy had once praised Tenten's long-range accuracy as flawless. Even Neji admitted her projectiles never missed.
Kaien wasn't eager to become target practice.
"There will be some danger," Tenten admitted with a small smile. "But don't worry. I'll hold back. Get ready—I'm starting!"
"Whoosh!"
Before he could respond, a shuriken shot straight toward him.
Kaien's pupils shrank. Instinctively, he twisted sideways, narrowly avoiding it.
"Not bad! You actually dodged it," Tenten praised.
"Hehe… just luck."
"Then let's see how lucky you are against two!"
Her hands flicked simultaneously—two shuriken shot forward.
Kaien leapt aside again, barely avoiding both.
But before he could relax, the two shuriken collided midair, altered trajectory, and curved back toward him.
Catching the faint smile on Tenten's lips, Kaien instantly realized what was happening and dove forward just in time.
"Whoosh! Whoosh!"
The blades sliced past his ears.
"You dodged even that? Kaien, your combat instincts are impressive," Tenten said, catching the returning shuriken with ease.
"Hehe… luck again," Kaien laughed awkwardly. "And you were holding back, Sister Tenten."
"Enough flattery," Her expression turned serious.
"I've seen your reaction speed. Now I'll begin the real special training."
Kaien swallowed nervously, "Sister Tenten… please hold back."
"I know my limits," she assured him.
"Okay—"
Before he could finish, Tenten thrust both hands forward. Two fingers on each hand clamped a shuriken before releasing them in rapid succession.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh~!"
Four shuriken shot toward him at once, moving so fast they were almost invisible.
Kaien's eyes widened as the deadly projectiles closed in.
"Holy crap!!! This is way too fast!"
