Chapter 35 - Just A Tiny Story...

It was night and the moon and stars couldn't be seen through any window. What could be seen were the shaded clouds and the cold night; due to no stars, the sky was left with a dull and freezing beauty.

Moonlight looked out the window in search for even a star yet found none. He sighed and removed his face with a thought. 'Not even a glimmer of light. I'm so unlucky.'

However, the dark did not affect him as his room generated its own light. He used this to walk round the room doing nothing just talking to himself. On his bed sheet, three-night wears were placed for his choosing. But after a minute, he arranged them back to the wardrobe, saying, "I'm too lazy to wear this."

He moved to the bookshelf at the corner of the room. Then used a finger to navigate through it and in a second, he plucked out a book and opened the first page.

"Contents…I already read this once." He murmured, vocally disappointed as he placed the book to its original location.

The rowl woke up and climbed unto Moonlight's head. Moonlight looked up and carried it down to meet his face.

"You don't sleep at night, do you?" He spoke.

Moonlight then looked through the window once more and then his eyes lit up like he just discovered something.

"Come to think of it, you haven't spoken since then."

The rowl's head tilted and it purred 'Rowl' in silence.

Moonlight then pulled it closer, his eyes bearing a different fire.

"How about I teach you human tongue?" Moonlight asked.

"Rrrr…" The rowl appeared puzzled.

"Yes, that's what I will do." Moonlight said to himself.

He quickly placed the rowl on his head and used his fingers to navigate through the shelf of books. He searched the upper parts and brought out a different book.

The book's size was considerably large for a summarized version, but Moonlight never minded. He jumped on his bed, took the rowl, covered his body and placed the Rowl on the pillow beside him.

"Today, I'm going to brief you on the lore of the world of Anda."

With a smile, he began:

"The world is vast, enormous, filled with multiple life-forms and changing geography. These life-forms include humans, monsters, fairies and many other irregularities."

Moonlight paused to check if the Rowl was listening before he continued.

"The main power system is Elro which can be used for multiple things such as measuring energy, casting spell and many bullshit things. The main currency is Eos which is the currency of the Holy Church. It was developed during the year 2026."

"The Saint, the goddess of the world created all things including the hero, a warrior who comes by when all hope is lost."

Moonlight pulled the Rowl closer.

"The Saint gave four rules to uphold; Survive, Adapt, Evolve and Explore. The Saint said, 'These four rules I shall give, and you shall adhere to them at all costs.' The humans obeyed those rules and up to this day, they still adhere to it."

With a plop, Moonlight closed the book. The Rowl had already fallen asleep.

"Aren't you the combination of a rabbit and an owl? Guess that's all for today. I even picked the summarized version, yet we couldn't finish half a page."

Moonlight said in disappointment.

"Well, no matter."

He raised his hand and set his fingers to snap.

KNOCK!

Just then, a silent knock landed on his door. He knew exactly who it was. The door opened to reveal Febia in her maid uniform.

However, in another part of the world, Red removed her eyes from the window to glance at the back of a well-built man.

"Well you see, I want to ask for something." Red said.

The man turned to her, only his eyes was revealed.

"What is it? I don't remember a situation where you actually need my help." The man replied in a cold, threatening voice.

Red moved closer and began massaging his shoulders.

"Now now, I know you're a sweetie deep inside. Please stop acting manly for a second. Though, I'm going to need your manliness for this." Red said.

The man faced the wall again and asked, "What is it?" But this time, in a calmer and friendly tone.

"You see my friend came over and I thought to myself…"

Red then bent to his ears whispered, "I want a second child."

"Second Child!" screamed the man.

Red continued, "I need your help with that, my dazzling hero…"

On hearing that, the man immediately got up, picked Red and threw her to the bed.

"Don't worry I will grant your wish."

While they did the deed, a face watched them from the door.

The girl muttered, "Adults," and walked out of there.
