Time passed, a week came like a storm, swallowing Moonlight whole. All which remained on his mind was he messed up, badly. Being in the same class with other people was the worst thing that could happen to him.
Also, by his knowledge, Commoners tend to gum unlike the rich folks. This meant some random was definitely going to talk or interact with him some way or another. On the first day of the month, he prepared all his stuff except for the books on the shelf; as he decided he never was going to use them.
The thought of school hit harder as his day of leave was just a day away. Phoenix's attitude drastically changed over the past week as she tried to neither speak nor visit Moonlight.
However, she always looked to say something each time her and Moonlight crosses eyes.
It was morning. Phoenix's spoon made a clank each time it hit the dining table. With her plate still empty, Febia's nose made a move from just the scent of the untouched food.
Tension struck in, Moonlight was still in thought about how he would share rooms with complete randoms, Phoenix still looked like she was about to say something, and Febia was caught in the crossfire. Immediately, she lost her appetite and left the room, leaving them alone.
"I'm done."
With a thud, Moonlight dropped his spoon and prepared to leave.
"Moonlight,"
Phoenix whispered.
Her voice reached him just as he was about to cross the door. Naturally, he stopped.
"I've been thinking. If you leave now, you will be staying at a boarding school along with various others. The maximum we can do is to build for you your own house where you will be staying alone."
Phoenix stood up.
"So I thought. What if we move to the school rather than only you going there, alone, but I need your answer and approval to make that a reality. Would you rather go to a boarding school? Or stay with us, just in a different house?"
The question was unexpected, even for Moonlight. But however, this was the first time he gave an answer quicker than time itself. He accepted her reason and naturally, chose to stay with the house. Now, both him and Phoenix hearts leaped to unnecessary heights.
Happily, he tip-toed back to his room, then, a question hit him.
"Do they accept animals?"
Phoenix nodded with a yes.
On confirming, he returned to his room and lay in bed, waiting for the day to quickly pass by.
By early evening, Phoenix informed the house that their ride and the house to park into had already been settled.
Moonlight was incredibly shocked by how fast it happened but, he got the feel this was normal. Febia on the other hand, couldn't help but squint her eyes on hearing the news.
Then the realization dropped in as she saw Rab's carriage patiently waiting outside for them. 'She wasn't joking.' Another bolt struck as she saw Rab walking into the house and placing himself on a seat in the parlor.
The news hit Febia so much that she actually started thinking for once. She opted to ask questions to lease her thoughts but she knew if she asked Phoenix. She would gain an answer that creates more questions.
So, Febia headed to the parlor where Rab sat. He sat with an unprepared gaze at his surrounding and an unsteady mindset. One look at him told Febia both he knew this journey wasn't pre-planned.
However, to make for his appearance, he combed his hair in hopes things would surely get better.
Febia pressed down on the sofa and leaned towards his face. "Hey there," She said, introducing herself.
"Ah!" Rab instinctively shifted away just from hearing her voice.
Slightly taken aback, Rab cleared some distance between them. He gulped as he struggled to find his voice.
"Tell me, why are you here?"
Febia shortened the distance, placing her face just millimeters away from his.
Rab could feel his presence gradually shaken just by her being close to him. So, he thought to try to change the topic. "Lady if you stay too close. I might rape you just from your smell."
"Shut your mouth, there is a six-year-old in this house. Also, answer my question. What are you doing here?" Febia asked with a surprisingly harsh tone.
Eventually, Rab did not reply and Febia knew if she stayed there any longer, there wouldn't be enough to park up. So, she left the parlor, leaving him with a small world.
"I'll be back."
She never came back.
By the time Febia returned to her room, Phoenix had already unpacked everything, leaving Febia's mind blank for a moment. She regained herself as she realized Phoenix was an Adna.
However, what came after shocked Febia more. Phoenix had already unpacked everything the house needed all in the span of an hour. Or that was worth Febia thought. IN reality, it was in less than a minute.
Febia then ran down and saw Rab already preparing me to go. Rab yawned slightly as he boarded on his driver's box with the reins tightened in his hands.
The shock came further as Febia saw Moonlight stepping out of the house, carrying his luggage and walking over to the boot of the carriage.
Plus, reality hit even more as the entire house boarded the carriage and in just three hours. They had already moved to a different city. What shocked Febia even more was that there already was a mansion prepared, and the land was even more spacious than the previous.
Then in the midst of all this, Febia then realized.
"Oh. Now I get it."
'Never use logic to explain Adna's.' She thought.
