Chapter 20 - Rules to Follow

"Monsters particularly have a submissive nature. Like pets."

Great Uncle turned.

"Rowls in particular, while you may see a beast, they are very light. Hence, the reason for their speed and precision but, I'm not here for that. Before you go, you need to follow these rules obediently."

Great Uncle sat down with his legs crossed. He raised his left arm and brought out his fingers.

"One," He covered his thumb. "You are to always hold back no matter the situation."

"Huh."

"I'm sure you've seen your powers firsthand and you know how terrifyingly broken you both are."

Moonlight and Cloud looked at each other and nodded. Then, they faced Great Uncle one more.

"Keep in mind, reality breaks when lust moves a muscle. So, if you don't hold back a lot. You could potentially break reality."

Cloud chuckled. "Potentially,"

Great Uncle glares at him and coughs twice. "Two," He then covered his second finger. "You must never under no circumstance, use release. It's dangerous."

"Why?"

"For a very particular reason you are not yet meant to know of. Besides, I'm surprised you both never used it during the test."

"Were we supposed to use it?" Cloud asked.

"No, I'm just surprised you especially did not use it."

"Me?"

"An average Adna wouldn't have thought of using it but, you're not an average Adna."

"Huh…?"

"Three," Great Uncle brought out his middle finger. Cloud sighed and prepared to listen. "Though this may be an unusual one but, never, I mean never. Always wear long-fitted clothes, always. Never ever leave your bare skin open for anyone except for the love of your life."

"Huh? What's this about?!"

"Calm down. I know this may seem weird if you think about it, but, there is a valid reason and explanation for this. However, I will not tell you."

"Why?"

"As you're about to leave, I'm definitely sure you must come to face with some random things on the way. So, if I explain your entire lore right now, do you think there will be any story left? Hmm…?"

"You…are right."

"Thank you."

"But that just makes the situation worse if you see it from my perspective." Cloud said.

"Not my business. Besides, your ride's all settled. Bye."

With that, Great Uncle stood up instantly, dusted his butt and said no word after. He then moved to Phoenix.

"Huh?"

"Did you get all that?"

Moonlight nodded.

Cloud's eyes scanned Moonlight from head to toe and uttered an 'Oh…' before stopping.

The sun hit Cloud's face as he stepped out the shade.

"Another perfect day," He stretched his entire body left and right. "Now, is the world as perfect as this?"

Then, he walked over to their carriage and got in first before anyone else.

Moonlight still sat on the grass, covered by the shade of a disturbingly long tree. Grains of grass began to glue to his trousers and that was the sign to move. He thought of imitating Cloud but he wasn't alone.

Now, Febia had already boarded in and Phoenix waited for him with her back against the carriage sides.

Moonlight scratched his left ear, therefore spooking the rowl once more.

'What do I do with you?'

He turned to face the house and wondered for a brief moment if where he is about to go is far better that this house.

Great Uncle waved at him.

"Oh yeah, my name's Inc! Great Uncle seems too formal!"

Mera watched from the second floor and yawned. Moonlight noticed her and whispered 'Bye.'

"We hear you, now please leave. You're dragging this scene."

Moonlight turned and got in.

Immediately as he got in, Cloud whispered to his ears. "Stop making this look like a last chapter."

"Huh."

In no time at all, the carriage zoomed off with the loud neighs of the horses.
