Dani looked up and was shocked to see the man standing close to Abi, though it took him like five minutes to remember his face clearly which hasn't changed a lot even though many years has passed ,
Though they were the same age , but they were not in the same society class, Dani has always been below average while Micheal is above, be it in looks, height and intelligence, Micheal was better.
He was his nemesis, Nothing would ever make him forget the face of the man who took his crush away in high school…
The girl he couldn't hold up close and was just a far away admirer.
Micheal always beats him and now he is standing close to Abi, his wife .
Immediately His mind started running ..
After all, it was because his parents sent him abroad to get a degree and cut off all communication with Abi that he was opportune to Marry Abi..
who doesn't know the high school lovers in their neighborhood then ? even when Abi heard her high school lover Micheal Osborne travelled out of the country without informing her courtesy of his parents…
She still didn't agree to date another man for a complete two years with the hope he would come back and explain himself..
And in those two years, it was Dani who was a supporting best friend and was acting as a good person around Abi…
It was one of the reasons Abi accepted to marry him when he finally asked her out , not because he was the best candidate or a better choice but because Dani was a calm soul who respected her and Dani's family loved her except his mother who was contesting for a bigger fish, but it didn't stop Dani from marrying Abi.
Dani's father liked Abi and told Dani if he ever lose the opportunity to marry Abi he has lost the best woman in the world but thinking about it now it seems his father was blinded by this seductress ..
Coming back to the present ..
though it seems like Micheal has changed, Dani still remembered him, the Micheal he knew before was just a teenager , now he is seeing a well grown good looking man and looking at himself that doesn't even look that good with his pot belly and almost brown teeth, his mind skipped .
"Sir, I have accepted to apologize to Abi even though I'm not at fault , Chelsea announced while scrutinizing this handsome man … of course she was intrigued…
That was what brought Dani back to his senses .. ..
"Mi.. Micheal Osborne ?
"Mr Wellfound , why should Abi apologize when she is the one hurt ? Micheal asked again staring at Dani while standing as a life coach beside Abi..
A chill ran down Dani's spine , but he managed to recover quickly…
"Micheal it's been ages… Dani tried to keep it cool…
"it's Mr Osborne to you, we were never friends…
"This good for nothing man hasn't dropped his rudeness .. Dani thought.. "well Mr Osborne , as you can see this is a family affair.. so we wouldn't want outsiders to get involved .. Dani fired back at him …
He smiled , "it's just in papers, it will soon be dropped ... Micheal replied..still looking at him .. ..
"what does he mean by that , Dani thought , He narrowed his eyes … He said while looking and pointing at Chelsea whose face was still messy from the cries …
"How could she be injured when Chelsea is pregnant and was the one who was pushed down …
"How do you know Abi was the one who pushed her down or she deliberately fell , Micheal asked ..
"Can you hear yourself talk , why would any sane person intentionally fall to lay accusations on another …Dani asked again now wondering if this two has something in their brain ..
"well you said sane person , of course there are people whose brain doesn't work Micheal said … and before Dani could prolong the issue , he brought out his phone and played a footage , and from the footage , Chelsea was seen walking side by side with Dani, then she paused and looked straight , that was when a woman's back appeared,
Since she was backing the camera , her face wasn't showing, but it was obviously Abi because they have the same cloth, hair and handbag, and was still standing not too far from where she was spotted on camera .
Chelsea was seen looking around like a criminal , then walking straight to Abi.
when she was not too far from Abi who was bent picking something from the down display cabinet .
She stopped and awaited Abi to bump into her, and as Abi who has peripheral vision , she didn't notice anything and almost bumped into Chelsea and from the camera Chelsea held Abi's hand before falling ,
Most camera's don't have sound but not in the case of Micheal's phone … from the camera the voice was audible and clear as Chelsea said , "Let's see how your husband defend me instead of you his wife … she smiled and fell …"
everywhere was quiet for awhile and people were trying to digest what just played now … Dani was speechless after watching the video and that's when he looked at Abi and saw how the part of her hand that Chelsea held was red,
With Abi's fair skin it will definitely leave a scar if nothing is done about it …
After playing the video Micheal now raised Abi's hand and said again ,
"so why should Abi apologize when she is the one hurt?
Chelsea wanted to faint , cuz in Dani's eyes this is the first time she is meeting Abi aside the day his mother introduced her to him and Abi ..
Dani was ashamed because he did exactly what Chelsea predicted …
But thinking of the child in Micheal's hands and the resemblance between the two , his mind has told him what played … so he didn't blame Chelsea that much after all she is the one who gave him his own children ..
But his mind was still in turmoil, when did Micheal return ?? when did Abi and Micheal meet… ?? that's exactly what he can't explain
… the onlookers who were shocked after watching the videos .. especially people who were close started seeing Abi in another light …
Apparently the home wrecker knew Abi has peripheral vision and planned to use it against her and accuse Abi of pushing her down just to ascertain the fact that the woman wrapper chose her over the main wife …
