The remaining demons, struck by horror, began to flee.
But the sealed man chased after them, killing and tearing them apart one by one.
The king witnessed the scene—demons running in terror, falling one after another.
He turned away and rushed back inside the palace, his heart pounding, desperate to check on his wife after the shock of the blast.
Then he saw them.
His wife and daughter, locked in each other's arms, crying.
A wave of emotions struck his heart all at once—
sorrow, guilt… and relief.
Elizabeth noticed her father standing there.
Tears streamed down her face as she looked at him.
With a trembling voice, she said,
"If we can't live together…
then I want to die with both of you."
From afar, the sealed man noticed the family.
In a single second, he leapt toward them.
The wall between them shattered under his landing.
He stood there, right next to tthem.
As the dust settled, the knights rushed toward the source of the noise.
Elizabeth and her parents—the queen and the king—looked on in horror.
Before them stood the sealed man, radiating a presence they could not explain.
The knights quickly formed a protective circle around him, raising their weapons.
The king pulled the queen and Elizabeth close.
"Stay behind me," he ordered, his voice firm but trembling.
No one knew what would happen next.
A small smile appeared on the sealed man's lips.
"I have already repaid you…
now, what should I do with all of you?"
Hearing the sealed man's words, the king immediately fell to his knees.
He pleaded, his voice trembling, begging the sealed man to spare his family and the people of his kingdom.
The sealed man said nothing.
With a single motion, he stamped down on the king's head.
The queen and Elizabeth screamed and rushed forward, trying desperately to remove his foot from the king's head.
Tears streamed down their faces as they pleaded,
"Please… let him go!"
But the sealed man did not move an inch.
Then he turned his gaze toward the knights.
Some of them stared in horror.
Some in sorrow.
Some in anger.
The sealed man's gaze swept over them.
A cruel smile appeared on his lips.
"You… you are the descendants of that traitor!" he said, his voice cold and sharp.
"Just looking at your hair color… my blood boils," he added, still smiling.
Elizabeth stepped forward, rage and tears burning in her eyes.
"Traitor?" she shouted.
"You were the demon sealed by my ancestors!"
The sealed man did not reply.
He lifted a single finger.
In an instant, the heads of three knights burst apart.
Blood splattered the ground.
Everyone froze in shock and terror.
The sealed man smiled.
"Demon?" he said calmly.
"Oh… you may call me that, child."
He slowly looked around at everyone present.
"Now, every life here rests in my hands."
"What should I do?"
"Should I tear off your limbs—arms, heads—and hang them for display?"
"Or should I simply roast you all?"
He spoke in a calm, almost casual tone.
Hearing his words, Elizabeth froze in horror.
She lowered her head, tears falling onto the ground.
"I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I—"
Her voice broke as she kept apologizing.
The sealed man chuckled softly.
"Oh?" he said.
"Your family really loves saying sorry, don't they?"
"From the moment I awakened… all I hear is apologies."
Then, with a casual swipe of his arm—
half of the castle was obliterated.
The sealed man spoke again, his voice calm.
"Pick up the sword… and cut off an arm."
Elizabeth hesitated, trembling.
She slowly picked up the sword.
For a moment, she raised it toward herself.
The sealed man tilted his head slightly.
"Not your arm," he said.
"Your loving father's."
Elizabeth froze.
The sword slipped from her trembling hands and clattered to the ground.
She fell to her knees.
"Anything but that… please," she begged.
