"So, every preparation has been started."
Anmol looked at the main display.
"From Maharashtra to Delhi, all preparation has been done."
Shiven crossed his arms, still unsure.
"So, what is the plan? You did so much work, but what will you do now?. Are we going to ask every police officer about the information?"
Veer slowly turned toward him.
"That's the reason you are the lowest rank among us, Shiven."
"In every place, cameras are installed by the police, and in many places cameras are already there."
Shiven blinked. Realization slowly forming.
"So, you will control all the cameras from here?"
Veer gave a faint smile — the kind that meant someone had underestimated him.
"You really think we can control every camera from here? If those cameras were installed, they chose a nearby control centre. If we control them from here, it will take time. We will have to hack the cameras."
Shiven nodded slowly.
"So, you will hack cameras by Hardik, but from where will we see all the camera footage?"
Anmol answered before anyone else.
"Of course from headquarters."
Veer looked toward the far corner where Hardik sat surrounded by screens.
"Hardik, can you check whether you are able to hack all the cameras?"
Hardik's fingers moved quickly across the keyboard. Lines of code reflected in his glasses.
"Yes, I am able to do this easily."
From behind, Shivansh stepped forward, his voice serious.
"What if that person or clone again hacks our headquarters?"
Veer didn't hesitate.
"I have contacted other countries to track all signals from wherever it comes."
Shivansh narrowed his eyes.
"Then if he tries to hack our headquarters, we will track him."
"Yes," Veer replied calmly, "but there is only a 0.01% chance of this."
Shivansh's expression changed instantly.
"What? Only 0.01%? But if every country means every country will try to track that signal, still the chances are low?"
Veer's eyes darkened slightly.
"Because last time we saw that the signals were coming from everywhere in the world, and some places are there which we have not explored yet."
A brief silence followed.
Shivansh swallowed.
"Tell me if that thing also has some chances."
"It has no chance."
Shivansh looked shocked.
"So why did you tell this to me?"
Veer stepped closer, his tone steady.
"Because every best officer should think of every possibility. So please keep this in mind."
Shivansh lowered his head slightly.
"You are right and have faith."
Veer shook his head.
"No, this does not mean you are bad. This is also good. You come to direct points which are really important. That's why you are important in our team."
For a moment, respect filled the room.
Then Veer turned and walked toward his office. The glass door closed softly behind him.
Outside, Shivansh looked thoughtful.
"Sir is really very intelligent and calm headed, but he was not like this before when we used to study together."
Samriddhi stood beside him.
"Yeah, you are right. He is intelligent, but he has changed because something really bad happened to him."
Shivansh frowned.
"What happened to him?"
Samriddhi looked toward Veer's closed office door.
"I will tell you about this some other day. Right now, you should focus on the case."
Shivansh nodded slowly.
"Yeah, you are right."
Inside his office, Veer stood alone, looking at the digital calendar glowing on the wall.
29th December.
He took a deep breath.
Then he stepped out and addressed the team.
"Okay then, today is 29th December. Our mission has started."
The countdown had begun.
And there was no turning back.
