The first hunter sees Jin tied up and on the ground makes a run to kill him, suddenly roots explodes from the ground wrapping its roots all over the first hunter, and it was Ralian using her powers to neutralize the hunter. But doesn't lose sight of the other six hunters, and the leader claps.
"Well... Well... Well, that was a bold move Druid. But now its going to cost ya now" the tone of from the leader was very serious as they all quick to take precautions.
"Who are you, and what are you after"
"Are you really that blunt, or is it all that dirt clump up inside your mind" then all six hunters began to laugh, Ralian angered by the leader's petty insults, fires an arrow but the leader to only quickly vanished, Jin notices this and tries to warn Ralian.
"Ralian watch out. Behind you!" Jin shouted as Ralian looks behind her and sees the leader right behind her swinging his hammer, launching Ralian out of his way crashing into a boulder. "Ralian!" Gale quickly runs towards Ralian and tries to aid her injuries but was soon surrounded by three hunters and has nowhere to run and ready his weapons.
"You boys take care with the knight and the Druid, but leave the target to me" The leader sighs and begins to walk towards Jin "in all these failed attempts to capture you, we can finally settle scores for once, but I got to say, Jin. why are you helping these newbs if their going to end up dead".
Jin feeling the threat lurking closer and closer, tries to walk back but an arrow was shot in the leg falling to the ground screaming in pain.
"Although I do love a good chase, however your little stunts have gone to far" the Leader stepping on Jin chest ready to kill "thankfully these idiots were able to make our job a whole lot easier, now we can collect your bounty to the enchantress" as the leader raised his hammer aiming towards Jin's head. "Jin-sae Akaumo, the wind caster... scourge of Alvera... and the murderer of Handikiz the great mage..."
Suddenly the air has gotten heavier, harder to breathe, and they seemed to somehow have trouble moving or gripping their weapons properly. "Hey boss what's going on?" "Quiet, this has to be some sort of ruse" the leader started to become confuse but looks down and is horrified at the spot something awoken inside Jin the feeling of anger, and hatred, eyes glow brightly. The leader and his remaining hunter beside him quickly moves back as Jin gets up on his own despite his injured leg. As Jin starts to levitate above the ground, then a huge tornado surrounding Jin, the leader, and another hunter.
All four hunters were soon to be distracted wondering what is happening with their leader and his prey. But this is giving the perfect opportunity Gale to attack them, Gale quickly unsheathed their weapons as Gale quickly bashes the first one with their shield instantly give the first hunter a concussion, two more hunters sees Gale's attack and tries to attack Gale, but was intercepted by roots sprouting from the ground warping them both by the roots, and it was Ralian still mustering her strength despite getting a fatal blow. The last hunter was scared to his wits "pl-please I surrender" but was knocked out by Geek "and that was for shooting me in the shoulder"
With all the hunters neutralized, the last two are inside Jin's own arena the two hearing the other of their hunters allies defeat tries to make it quick but couldn't move a muscle, feeling the fear made by Jin's abilities goings through his limits it's frightening.
"Don't you ever, speak of that killers name again" his voice sounded even more terrifying with his voice echoing throughout the huge tornado. But the two confused tries to question him suddenly have trouble breathing and falling to the ground gasping for air, the second would soon lose consciousness, but leader determined to kill Jin. He quickly use all his might to launch himself towards Jin but was caught by a large hand manifesting by wind squeezing him tightly coughing out huge spit of blood, till he too soon lost consciousness. With the tornado still rising ferociously, Gale, and Ralian are having trouble trying to get into the tornado Jin summoned.
"What should we do?" Gale looking at Ralian as she is always the one to come up with a solution, but was quick to be surprised at her terrified and confused expression.
"I don't know... I never seemed this level of elemental energy in all my life, but if he keeps up this whole area would be destroyed"
But the tornado starts to slowly dissipate, Gale and Ralian uses the chance to assist Jin, but as they were to do so, the two hunters were already defeated and Jin despite having an injured leg, and still tied, standing emerging victorious. Gale and Ralian being lost in awe by Jin's powers going over above his limits.
"How in the world, despite the injury he doesn't seems to show any sign of air sickness" Gale surprised to see Jin almost unscathed, but was quick to stop the thought by Ralian smacking Gale behind the head.
"Gale now not the time to ask questions" Jin starts walk towards Gale and Ralian, standing right beside the two with a more tired expression.
"Can we go now" still feeling hatred from what the leader hunter had said, but couldn't move any further now feeling his leg injury from earlier falling to the ground.
"Hey Ralian can you heal us"
"I suppose we should at least rest for a while before heading back onto the road" Geek sees the conversation between the two and wanted to help them.
"Hey there's a tavern nearby just across from this bridge here. In fact I can bring you guys there" Geek shows them a map where the nearby tavern is located.
"Thank you Geek. This will be very helpful"
"Don't sweat it. It's the least I can do"
"Andallow us the repay the favour" Ralian then heals Geek's shoulder using her magic "wow it better than before thank you. I'll go get the wagon ready" Geek soon leaves the two to gather his horses.
Gale starts moving all seven unconscious hunters into one area "hey Ralian what should we do with these hunters" "we should tie them up before they can cause anymore trouble"
Gale starts to tie all the other hunters but accidentally takes off one of the hunter's mask but surprisingly recognize this hunter "hey Ralian. Isn't this Yamma"
Ralian quickly heads to Gale as she looks down at the tied hunter as she also recognize her face, "wait, Yamma Azory what is she doing here" "never expect to meet an old friend right Ralian" "a friend that abandoned us for greed"
Jin still on the ground activate his wind magic, to slowly levitating towards Gale and Ralian conversation "you both said her name. Was she apart of your party"
"Yeah, there used to be four of us. Yamma left us for gold. And the other we have no idea where he is"
"Question was your last member a mage or something?"
"Yeah he was, he mainly specializes in lightning magic. How did you know"
"Well just call it a hunch" Jin chuckled a bit,
"Anyways enough of that, how about I heal your leg" Ralian begins to heal Jin's leg is surprised to see his leg is already healed "what... How was your leg healed with such short amount of time?!"
"Wait it was already healed? Huh didn't even notice it" Jin stands up to see if his leg is heal and has miraculously fully recover Ralian amazed of how Jin quickly healed "Jin how did you do that"
"I don't know it was only hurting for the first few minutes. Even before and after when I go above my limits."
Suddenly into their conversation Geek came by with the wagon ready "okay everyone get on"
Gale, Ralian, and Jin proceeds to hop onto Geeks horse cart soon to cross the bridge with towards a nearby tavern marked by Geek. But as Gale and Ralian were quick to start a conversation with each other, Jin looks back from the wagon across the skies trying to forget of that painful memory of his past. A past memory that haunted him for years.
