Zelkara turned around in circles anxiously. Then suddenly, his eyes lit up. He placed a hand on Veyra's shoulder while the other pointed to the front excitedly.
"Look over there!"
Veyra turned in the direction he pointed at and saw a small cave over there. It looked super narrow, just large enough to fit both of them. He frowned a little, hesitating on whether it was safe to stay in the forest overnight. He kind of wants to find a way back, even though there might be some danger.
He lifted his head up and looked towards the sky. The clouds are growing darker, as if they were almost about to rain.
Going back to this weather might be way too dangerous…
Before he could make up his mind, Zelkara decided for him. He did not think as much as Veyra did, and transformed into his beast form before walking straight into the cave.
"Wait… Zelkara!"
