"Celeste, what are you looking for?"
A voice rose above her, and moments later, she saw a pair of legs stop in front of her. Looking up, she found Veyra standing there, holding that wooden box in his hands.
Narrowing her eyes, she suddenly noticed that the wooden box looked identical to the one that Abyrith once gave her. That was her mother's gift for her, and it had the same symbol carved into the lid.
She wanted to lean closer and examine it more carefully, but her body had finally reached its limit. Her consciousness drowned into darkness, and she went into deep sleep.
When she opened her eyes again, she noticed that she was still inside the cave, resting against the stone wall just like she had before.
"What happened…?" she murmured softly.
Celeste pressed a hand to her forehead and was surprised to find out that her body temperature had returned to normal. Her strength had also returned to her body.
