I'm honestly so hurt that I don't even know what to say anymore. I literally want to cry… and I am crying while writing this.
I ended up deleting my new book. Maybe it sounds like a small thing, but as an author, it really hurts when something you've spent your time, effort, and emotions on is dismissed like that.
I know people love dark romance, and I've seen how much readers appreciate and respect books in this genre. That's why I wanted to try writing it too. I was genuinely excited to explore something different and create a story that people might enjoy.
But when I finally tried, being told to stop writing this book really broke my heart.
So, for now, I'm deleting my new book. Not because I don't love the story, but because right now I'm too hurt to continue writing it.
