Author's Note
I've read darker Jayfer stories before, and I've also read stories that showed their love in so many different ways. I know what true love means in a story, and I know the kind of story I wanted to write.
But you didn't even let me start.
I hadn't even released my first chapter yet, and my second chapter wasn't even there. You judged the book before I could show you what I had planned for Jayfer and their moments.
I was genuinely so excited about this book. I was happy while writing it, thinking about the scenes, the characters, and everything I wanted to give you. But hearing that I should remove it before I even got the chance to begin completely broke that happiness.
So, honestly, I'm done. I can't continue this book anymore.
I'm ending this story—not because I didn't love it, but because the excitement I had for it is gone.
Maybe someday I'll write something like this again. But for now, I just need to step away.
