Yu Weiwei stood motionless before the planetary core, his expression pale.
He lowered his head and stared at his hands, still unable to understand what he had just seen.
Was it merely an illusion created by the inheritance?
Or had he somehow witnessed something that had actually happened in the past?
A terrifying thought slowly surfaced in his mind.
Could he have been there?
Was Lin Zhe him, Yu Weiwei?
No.
An even more absurd possibility suddenly occurred to him.
Could Lin Zhe see the future?
Otherwise, how could he have perfectly imitated Yu Weiwei's current appearance?
Yu Weiwei's heart tightened.
If Lin Zhe had truly seen his future appearance, then all his previous assumptions were wrong.
And if that was true, Lin Zhe might have known that Yu Weiwei would eventually come to this cave because of the spiritual veins.
Everything seemed to fit.
Lin Zhe did not belong to this world, so he could not simply give the planetary core a spiritual vein of his own without arousing the suspicion of the Heavenly Dao. Therefore, by the time Lin Zhe did this, Yu Weiwei must have already been born.
Lin Zhe had used Yu Weiwei's aura to modify the planetary core, allowing it to gradually adapt to the aura of this world without attracting the Heavenly Dao's attention.

And how had he known that Yu Weiwei would eventually appear before the planetary core?
The questions continued to pile up in Yu Weiwei's mind, but there were no answers.
Yu Weiwei finally snapped out of his thoughts when he felt the primordial dragon cub moving restlessly in his arms.
The little dragon, which had previously been nestled comfortably against him, was now struggling to charge toward the human cub, who was staring back at it smugly.
Yu Weiwei had the distinct feeling that if he were not holding it, the little dragon would have already given the human cub the beating of his life.
After coaxing the disgruntled primordial dragon cub, Yu Weiwei examined the inheritance he had received and gradually realised that the inheritance itself might not be the greatest secret his father had left behind.
The true secret was probably something else—something he was still unaware of.
He turned toward the serpent.
"Let's go back. I'm a little tired."
"Father?"
Yu Weiwei froze.
He stared at the human cub, who was looking at him expectantly, his expression becoming increasingly complicated.
Although the planetary core was far older than him, the consciousness that had formed within it had only just awakened. In other words, although the child physically appeared to be around three years old, he had only existed as a conscious being for a few minutes.
Yu Weiwei stared at the boy, completely unsure where to begin.
Meanwhile, the little boy gazed back at him innocently, seemingly unaware that his sudden appearance had completely overturned everything Yu Weiwei thought he knew.
He swam toward Yu Weiwei, his soft white hair floating gently in the water. His clear blue eyes seemed to hold all the wonders of the world, while his small hands clutched Yu Weiwei's clothes as though they were the safest place he had ever known.
Yu Weiwei took a deep breath.
How was he supposed to explain the fact that, at only twenty years old, he had somehow gained a three-year-old biological child who had appeared out of nowhere?
"Father."
Yu Weiwei's expression twitched.
He really had become a father.
He had never even been in a relationship, let alone had a child.
Before he could think any further, an angry growl came from his arm.
The primordial dragon cub was staring at the human child with undisguised hostility, its tiny body tense as though it were preparing to pounce.
"Mmmm!"
The human cub tilted his head and stared back.
After a moment, he pointed at the primordial dragon cub with a displeased expression.
"Bad."
A thought seemed to flash through the child's innocent mind.
'Why was this animal cuddling in his father's arms?'
The little dragon's eyes widened as though it could not believe what it had just heard.
'How dare this brat that appeared out of nowhere call him bad?!'
It immediately growled louder before charging toward the human cub.
Yu Weiwei reacted quickly and caught it before it could reach the child.
"Enough. Stop fighting."
The primordial dragon cub struggled furiously in his arms, its tiny claws waving as it tried to free itself.
The human cub simply watched from Yu Weiwei's other arm, seemingly more curious than frightened.
Yu Weiwei was about to scold the dragon cub again when he suddenly sensed an unusual fluctuation in the surrounding spiritual energy.
The planetary core behind him pulsed.
A vast amount of spiritual energy surged through the cave, causing the water around them to churn violently. Before Yu Weiwei could react, the primordial dragon cub was suddenly lifted several metres into the air and thrown backward.
"Mmm?!"
The little dragon landed heavily on the ground, staring around in stunned disbelief.
Yu Weiwei stared at it for a moment before slowly turning toward the human cub.
The child blinked innocently.
He looked down at his own hands, then back at Yu Weiwei, as though asking what had just happened.
Yu Weiwei's expression became serious.
He could clearly sense the connection between the child and the planetary core.
The child had not deliberately used spiritual energy. Instead, the entire planet had responded to his emotions.
The human cub was the planetary core itself.
The primordial dragon cub was unwilling to accept its defeat.
After shaking itself off, it immediately charged again.
This time, Yu Weiwei did not even have time to stop it.
The little dragon leapt toward the human cub, only for the child to instinctively raise both hands.
The cave trembled violently.
A powerful surge of energy erupted through the surrounding water, and the primordial dragon cub was sent flying backward once again.
It rolled several times before finally coming to a stop, looking thoroughly offended by what had happened.
"Mmm..."
The little dragon whimpered as it stared at Yu Weiwei, as though complaining about its treatment.
Yu Weiwei looked at the little dragon with a mixture of sympathy and helplessness.
It was a primordial dragon with an extraordinary bloodline, yet it had been defeated twice by a three-year-old child who did not even know how he had attacked.
Yu Weiwei could already understand why.
Because the child was the planetary core itself, he possessed all the authorities belonging to Sea Sky Planet. However, his consciousness was still immature, and he had almost no control over those authorities.
He could not consciously command the planet yet.
Instead, his emotions seemed to trigger its power instinctively.
It seemed that Yu Weiwei would have to teach the little cub how to control his abilities. After all, no child under the age of eighteen in the interstellar world was capable of using mental powers.
Unfortunately, the primordial dragon cub seemed determined not to accept defeat.
Yu Weiwei sighed.
Reacting quickly, he grabbed both cubs and carried one in each arm.
"Let's go home. And you..." he added, looking at the primordial dragon cub, "stop fighting with him. You've already lost twice."
The little dragon immediately turned its head away in protest.
Yu Weiwei shook his head helplessly before leaving the cave with the two cubs.
The serpent swam leisurely behind them.
As he walked away, Yu Weiwei glanced back at the planetary core one last time.
The secret surrounding Lin Zhe had only become more complicated, and now Yu Weiwei had somehow gained a child whose existence was directly connected to that very secret.
He had no idea what his father had planned.
But he was certain of one thing.
This was not a coincidence.

By the time Yu Weiwei returned home, it was already late. He washed up and also bathed the 2 cubs, by the time he was done, he was already exhausted. The serpent had followed him home and shrunk itself down so that it would not cause any panic.
Yu Weiwei put the serpent into the fish tank since it preferred to stay in water. However, its appearance scared all the ornamental fish into huddling together in one corner of the tank.
Yu Weiwei looked at the ornamental fishes and bought a new fish tank, a minutes later it arrived.
After putting the serpent into the filled fish tank he trudged to his room.
Yu Weiwei put down the human cub and the primordial dragon cub who was on his head down before plunging onto the soft bed, thinking that he could finally have a good night's rest.
Unfortunately, the moment he put the primordial cub down, it charged towards the human cub who was moving towards Yu Weiwei.
"Grrr!"
The human cub immediately turned around and dodged. He then patted Yu Weiwei and pointed at the dragon cub, complaining.
"Bad!"
Yu Weiwei looked at the primordial dragon cub, which had crashed headfirst into the floor, and sighed.
