"What?" Martin blinked blearily, casting me a suspicious look. "How is that possible? She's just a wolfless omega. Are you sure you're not being lied to? And why would she help me― she's the one who put me in here in the first place!"
"Shut your mouth and stop insulting her!" His father growled out, evidently upset at his son's disrespect. "Do you think your entire family is as foolish as you? She donated her own blood to save you!"
He jabbed at the IV bag, which was stained red.
"That's her blood inside it. Now, you'd better apologize for your words! We owe her a blood debt!"
"Iris, please don't be offended by my stupid child's words." His mother gave me a panicked glance. "He just recovered and doesn't know what he's actually saying."
I merely nodded. I was simply glad that Martin had recovered, and I didn't lose three syringes' worth of blood for nothing.
"Huh? A blood debt?!" Martin was shocked by his father's words.
