[IRIS POV]
Martin's mouth opened and closed wordlessly while the rest of his family stared at me with vaguely horrified looks. Healer Felix took over the conversation.
"I can vouch for Iris's character. She saved you because your body underwent something similar to hers, at a risk to herself," Healer Felix said. "You will treat her with respect, or your family will be destroyed by your stubbornness. Do you understand me?"
Martin only glared mulishly at me before reluctantly giving a nod.
Healer Felix continued, "Martin, you are now our only witness. Please do your best to remember what happened past midnight. You were asleep, but your wolf would have detected something. Did you smell anything strange? Hear someone coming closer to you? The intruder would have made some noise when they dismantled my security cameras. Close your eyes and listen to my voice."
