"Alright. What would the training include?" I asked curiously, nearly bouncing on my feet in excitement.
"First things first, do you know the name of your wolf?" Caius looked at me expectantly. "It's a lot easier to build a stronger bond with your wolf once you know how to address them. For instance, my wolf is called Atlas."
"Atlas is a very cool name," I said in response, almost envious.
Caius had asked me a simple question. It should have been a no-brainer to answer, but I couldn't give him one because my wolf had not deemed me important enough to know.
'Hey, what's your name?' I asked again, my tone wheedling. 'Our teacher wants to know. Don't you want him to know who you are?'
I could sense my wolf's attitude wavering, but in the end, my wolf only huffed wordlessly, keeping her snout determinedly shut while Caius continued to stare at me. When I didn't reply, he grumbled under his breath.
