Atlas removed his paw from Healer Felix, and Healer Felix got up, brushing the dirt and twigs from his clothes. His eyes narrowed as they glared at Atlas, before turning to me. They widened incredulously as he slowly walked towards me, reaching a hand hesitantly towards my fur.
"Iris? Is that you? But it can't be… the medical reports didn't mention anything about a wolf…" Healer Felix was muttering to himself.
I felt myself shrink in embarrassment at his scrutiny, and a tiny whine escaped my non-human lips.
This was not how I wanted him to find out about this!
Not only had I not returned to his home on time as promised, causing Healer Felix to travel all the way to the outskirts when he should have been resting at home, but he also came all the way here to find out entirely by accident that I had a wolf.
