"The bride and groom are returning home!"
The wedding maid at the very front suddenly let out the cry. Jane was startled and couldn't help but look toward the head of the procession.
'Home? What home?'
As Jane reeled in shock, the scenery around her changed drastically. She suddenly felt mud beneath her feet.
Jane snapped back to her senses and looked down. The paved asphalt road from just moments ago had turned into a damp, dirt path.
Bianca spoke calmly from the side.
"Don't be nervous. We've entered their territory."
Jane's heart was still pounding. She looked at the path beneath her feet, then at her surroundings. The fog was gradually dissipating, revealing a sinister and eerie country lane.
"Where in the world have they brought us?"
The surroundings looked a bit like a village.
Feeling completely out of her depth, Jane looked over at Bianca.
"How am I supposed to get Drew Thorne out of here later?"
