Renee Jennings walked in the door, her eyes sweeping across the room before settling on Mrs. and Mr. Summers.
"Hello." She took off her sunglasses, raising an eyebrow with a smile. "Is this Lucy Summers' home?"
Mr. Summers nodded. Just as he said "Yes," Mrs. Summers cut him off. "No, it isn't. You have the wrong place."
"How could that be?" Renee Jennings's lips curved into a half-smile. "You two look so much like Lucy Summers. One look is all it takes to know you're her biological parents."
"No, we're not," Mrs. Summers retorted. "Don't talk nonsense."
Renee Jennings gestured behind her, and Michelle Fuller and Sheryl Sawyer walked in. They were also wearing sunglasses. Michelle's expression was incredibly cocky, giving off an air that she was not to be trifled with.
Mrs. Summers stared at them, her brow furrowed tightly. A faint, ominous premonition crept into her heart. "Who are you people?"
