Finn Hawthorne hesitated for only a few seconds before nodding. "Alright, I'll move in and stay with you."
Faye Vaughn was still worried. "Don't you have to go back to pack your things? Take a few bodyguards with you. Don't go by yourself."
Finn Hawthorne was amused by how nervous she was. "Aren't you being a little dramatic? That punk Liam Linden is as scrawny as a monkey. If he dares to show his face, I'll take him down in a heartbeat."
Faye Vaughn knew deep down that it wouldn't be safe even with bodyguards. 'Liam Linden doesn't rely on fistfights, but on weapons.' Still, it was better than nothing. Some precaution was better than none at all.
"I know you could beat him, but can you please not make me worry sick?" Faye Vaughn's voice softened, her eyes glistening as her anxiety and concern became plain to see.
The sight made Finn Hawthorne's heart soften. 'It's just taking a few bodyguards, it's not like it's some impossible task.' He would just agree for her sake.
