Faye Vaughn pushed the question back to Finn Hawthorne. "How do you want me to answer? Are you saying you'd be happy if I told you I only care about your safety and not whether your family lives or dies?"
Finn Hawthorne frowned. "You know perfectly well what I'm asking."
Faye Vaughn sighed softly. "I'm being serious. I'm worried something will happen to you. If you don't believe me, then fine."
Seeing her like this, Finn Hawthorne couldn't help but soften. "It's not that I don't believe you..."
Before he could finish, Second Young Master Vincent Hawthorne, who was standing beside him, cut in. "Miss Vaughn, you're worried about my third brother's safety, but what about my eldest brother? Aren't you worried about him?"
Faye Vaughn couldn't stop herself from secretly glaring at Vincent Hawthorne.
