KAYLA'S POV (Continuing):
The moment I entered the cafeteria, the scene in front of me made my blood boil.
Tables were overturned.
Chairs were scattered everywhere.
Food and drinks covered the floor in a disgusting mess.
And in the center of it all...
Theo and Hari were tearing into each other like wild animals.
Theo had a fist tangled in Hari's shirt, his knuckles bloody, his usually immaculate uniform wrinkled and stained. Hari looked no better, his lip was split, one side of his face already bruising, his chest rising hard with anger.
Around them, students had formed a wide circle, no one daring to step in.
Typical.
Cowards.
My gaze swept over the scene quickly and landed on another boy collapsed on the floor nearby, pale and barely conscious, blood at the corner of his mouth.
What the hell happened here?
My jaw tightened.
"Enough!"
My voice sliced through the cafeteria like a blade.
Instant silence.
It was immediate.
Sharp.
Absolute.
Even the air seemed to freeze.
Theo and Hari both stopped mid-motion, their heads snapping toward me.
The entire cafeteria went still.
Good.
I stepped forward, fury radiating off me in waves.
Without waiting for permission, I shoved myself between them and forced them apart with both hands.
Theo stumbled half a step back, chest heaving, eyes still blazing with rage.
Hari stepped back too, breathing hard, glaring over my shoulder at Theo like he still wanted to kill him.
I looked between the two of them in disbelief.
"What the hell is going on here?!"
Neither of them answered immediately.
Of course.
Just staring at each other like idiots.
Hari was the first to speak, his voice rough with anger.
"Ask him. He started it."
Theo let out a cold, humorless laugh.
"Liar. You're the one who meddled and provoked me."
I shot Theo a warning glare, then glanced toward the injured boy still lying on the floor.
"Leon."
My voice was sharp.
Leon, who had been standing in the crowd looking stunned, straightened immediately.
"Yes?"
"Take him to the school nurse. Now."
He nodded quickly and rushed over with another student to help the injured boy up.
I turned back to Theo and Hari, my patience already gone.
"This is a school," I snapped, glaring at both of them, "not a damn playground."
Neither of them spoke.
"If you two are so desperate to fight," I continued coldly, "then fight outside. Don't create a disgusting scene in the middle of the cafeteria like a pair of uncivilized maniacs."
