Raha woke up early in the morning, got ready for school, and left the house.
Just as she was about to enter the school gate, a large car suddenly stopped right in front of her.
Startled, Raha stepped aside and hurried into the school. When she turned back, she saw a boy stepping out of the car.
He was extremely good-looking.
Almost all the girls in the school gathered around him immediately.
"Ooooo, finally he's here!"
"We haven't seen him in so long!"
"He's so handsome—I've never seen anyone like him!"
The boy didn't respond to anyone. With a cold, arrogant attitude, he walked past them.
Raha stood there, stunned, watching him disappear.
She ran ahead toward the main building.
But just as she was about to go to her classroom, she heard a boy screaming.
Raha turned back.
Her heart froze.
The same boy was standing on another student's hand, pressing his shoe down mercilessly.
The boy on the floor cried, begged, and apologized again and again, but it made no difference.
"Did you really think you'd survive after messing with me?" the boy said coldly.
Raha was terrified. She couldn't move.
She just stood there, watching.
Why did I even come to this school? she thought.
Suddenly, Subin grabbed her hand and pulled her into the classroom.
Raha was shaking badly.
With trembling fingers, she took out her notebook and quickly wrote:
Who is that boy? Why is he doing this?
Subin replied quietly,
"That's Rohan Watson. He's the son of our school director, Mr. Watson."
Raha felt shocked.
My mother works in their house…
She wrote again:
Why did he hurt him?
Subin answered,
"He accidentally bumped into Rohan. Rohan's phone fell. That's all."
Raha was speechless.
Before she could process anything, three girls entered the classroom, walking confidently with an air of superiority. Raha had never seen them before.
Aisha called out,
"Rabina Manoban, Grace Ray, and Bella Watson—welcome back! How was your vacation?"
None of them answered. They ignored her completely and sat down.
Rabina asked lazily,
"Where's Meena? Didn't she come today?"
Aisha smirked.
"No, she hasn't. I don't think she'll come today."
Grace frowned.
"Why? Is she scared?"
Bella smiled coldly.
"Of course she is. After what she did, she has to be punished."
Rabina yawned.
"Obviously."
Then she turned sharply to Aisha.
"If we're talking among ourselves, don't interrupt. And how dare you call us by our full names?"
Aisha's face went pale. Embarrassed, she quietly sat down.
Rabina smiled.
"Good girl. That's how you should behave.
And remember—if you try to get too friendly, you know what will happen."
Rabina then walked up to Subin, wrapped an arm around his neck, held his cheek, and said sweetly,
"Hey babe, is Meena not coming today?"
Raha watched silently.
Her chest felt tight. Memories of her old school flooded back.
She was terrified that the same nightmare was starting again.
Subin pushed Rabina's hands away and said firmly,
"I don't know."
Rabina laughed.
"Oooo, how cute. Are you trying to protect her? That will never work."
"Think whatever you want," Subin replied.
Grace suddenly walked up to Raha.
"I haven't seen you before."
Bella mocked loudly,
"Oh, you forgot? She's the new student—the mute one. The one whose video went viral."
Raha froze.
Just then, Mr. Lee entered the classroom, and everyone returned to their seats.
Rabina asked casually,
"Hey sir, how are you?"
Mr. Lee stiffened.
She asked again,
"I asked you something."
He didn't reply.
Raha felt uneasy.
Then Rohan entered the classroom and sat down.
He looked at Mr. Lee with a disturbing smile.
"Where's your daughter?" he asked.
Mr. Lee finally snapped.
"Know your place! Is this how students talk to a teacher?"
The class fell silent.
Whispers spread—This time Mr. Lee is finished.
Rohan slammed his hand on the desk, still smiling.
"Ooo sir, I know. That's why I'm not saying anything… about your daughter."
He burst into laughter.
Mr. Lee lowered his head.
"Please… leave Meena alone."
Suddenly, Rohan threw his water bottle.
It hit Mr. Lee's head. Blood spilled.
The entire class laughed.
Everyone—except Raha and Subin.
Subin rushed forward.
Crying, Mr. Lee begged,
"Do whatever you want to me, but please… leave my daughter alone."
Rabina shouted,
"Shut up! You know exactly what your daughter did."
Rohan raised his voice.
"Subin, go back to your seat. Or else—"
Subin returned silently.
"Get out," Rohan ordered.
Mr. Lee kept pleading.
"Please… Bella, tell your brother to stop."
Bella said nothing.
Rohan yelled,
"I told you to leave. Shut up and get out."
Mr. Lee left the classroom, crying.
Raha stood frozen.
A school where teachers cry… and students laugh.
Her hands trembled.
Her eyes filled with tears.
