He understood perfectly well what he was here to do.

The radiance of Time began flowing around him.
Visible temporal turbulence twisted the flow of time surrounding Karl.

Karl looked at Abraxas with obvious disappointment.
When Abraxas heard those words...
The veins on his forehead bulged.
If he had been human, his blood pressure probably would have reached a catastrophic level.
A mere former mortal...
Was standing right in front of him without the slightest concern.
Abraxas simply could not tolerate it.
"You!!"
"Fine! Fine!"
"If you insist on being this arrogant, then you clearly have no idea what true terror is!"
Abraxas roared furiously.
"Impotent rage."
"What can you do to me?"
Those few words from Karl nearly made Abraxas explode with fury.
"Don't get arrogant!"
"Today, I'll destroy this entire world and see what you have left to depend on!"
"So what if you control Time?"
"I'll destroy your past, your future, and every trace of your existence!"
Abraxas had reached the peak of his fury.
His voice was filled with Killing Intent.
The surrounding space seemed to turn frigid.
Everything was filled with cold, malevolent destructive power.
Within that ocean of destruction...
The rules of destruction began moving as though they were living creatures.
Reality started breaking down.
The rules governing the world seemed to collapse.
Abraxas's overwhelming destruction no longer occurred solely in the present.
It simultaneously spread into the past and future.
Just as he had threatened...
He was attempting to destroy everything.
His destructive power directly covered the surrounding rules of reality.
Even millions of years into the future, this region might remain exactly as it was now.
Unless someone expended tremendous power to calm the Destruction Tide.
This was the terrifying nature of beings at the level of the Five Great Gods.

They could permanently alter an entire region of the Multiverse.

Even Karl could no longer remain completely detached from it.

More than a thousand terrifying rules and laws gathered around his body and began resisting Abraxas's destructive force.

Cracks appeared throughout the void once again.
The collision between their energies directly shattered the barriers between realities.
Enormous amounts of matter were dragged out beyond the boundaries of the worlds.

"You finally crawled out of that shell of yours."
Abraxas's voice was extremely hoarse.
It sounded harsh and unpleasant.
"Looks like fate wants me to kill you one more time."
"I suppose I'll just have to spend a little more effort."
"Arrogant fool!"
"Today, you're the one who dies!"
Abraxas snarled.
Without hesitation...
With a thought...
A rune-covered spear formed from pure Destructive Power appeared in his hand.
Every inch of it was constructed from destruction itself.
Countless profound runes covered its surface, making it almost mesmerizing to behold.
The spear thrust toward Karl.
Within it...
Karl seemed to witness worlds being born and worlds being destroyed.
One world after another collapsed before that terrifying force.
Karl could sense it clearly.
Contained within the spear...
Was the ultimate Will of Destruction.
It was destruction manifested in its purest form.
It was the embodiment of an Abstract Entity's will.
And that...
Was one of the foundations of truly supreme beings.
Why were powerful beings powerful?
Because of their will.
Every supreme being possessed a unique and extraordinary will.
Why could the Five Great Gods alter the world with a single thought?
Because their wills were powerful enough to impose themselves upon reality.
And now...
Abraxas was attacking with that very will.
But...
When it came to willpower...
Karl had never considered himself inferior to anyone!
He commanded hundreds of rules and more than a thousand laws.
How could his will possibly be weak?
In fact...
Karl's will might already have surpassed his actual level of power.
He extended his hand.
A platinum-white Holy Sword appeared out of thin air.
Contained within it were the various Origins, rules, and laws he had mastered.
Karl immediately hurled the sword forward.
In the next instant...
Spearpoint met blade!
They collided head-on!
The terrifying wills of the two beings crashed directly into one another.
In an instant...
Reality itself seemed to change.
Countless worlds trembled.
The entire Multiverse could feel the collision of their wills.
Even the fundamental rules of reality were being damaged and rewritten by their confrontation.
Throughout the Multiverse...
Every god sensed this battle between two supreme beings.
Countless powerful beings were horrified.
"Damn it..."
"Why are these two so monstrous?"
"Their wills must already be approaching those truly supreme existences!"
"How can they possibly be this terrifying?!"
Eternity felt his heart tighten.
Karl's Cosmic Status was not actually much higher than his own.
They were roughly comparable in that regard.
And yet...
Karl's will far exceeded Eternity's.
Eternity even felt as though Karl's will were forged from solid steel...
While his own was merely cotton.
Their quantity might have been comparable.
But the quality was completely different.
A being who had begun as a mortal...
Now possessed a will that not only rivaled an Abstract Entity's, but might even surpass it.
"Still..."
"Karl has definitely created enough of a disturbance."
"This is more than enough to draw everyone's attention."
Eternity could sense countless vast wills filling the surrounding region.
They were immense...
But they could not prevent Eternity from acting in secret.
He quietly transmitted a message.
The others could begin their preparations.
This time...
They were determined to destroy Abraxas.
At the same time, they would expose the traitor among the Five Great Gods and reset the Spell Array.
The time had almost arrived.
