Chapter 314 - Chapter 314: Born from the Rules

The powerful beings of the Marvel Universe always seemed capable of coming up with something Karl had never expected.

Even something as outrageous as rebooting the Multiverse was apparently not a particularly extraordinary feat to them.

Karl could only marvel at just how absurdly powerful these so-called gods were.

However...

That had little to do with him.

All he needed to do was create enough of a disturbance.

He did not actually have to risk his life fighting Abraxas to the death.

"If only I could get more jobs like this."

"I wouldn't have to waste nearly as much time."

Karl shook his head.

Over the years, he had faced countless dangerous situations on his own.

Opportunities this easy were exceedingly rare.

"Still, Abraxas isn't simple."

"I need to be careful."

"It would be ridiculous to lose because I underestimated him."

Karl thought to himself.

He had always been naturally cautious.

In truth, he did not particularly enjoy fighting.

Unfortunately, this was hardly a peaceful world.

Countless thoughts passed through Karl's mind.

But he did not hesitate.

After arranging matters at Kamar-Taj, Karl passed through a Portal and headed toward the Main Universe.

Following his breakthrough...

His strength had increased once again.

His comprehension of the various Origins had also deepened considerably.

By now...

His power had become so perfectly refined that he could completely restrain even his most terrifying fluctuations.

Passing through a Portal no longer posed any difficulty whatsoever.

In the blink of an eye, he arrived in the Main Universe.

Eternity had already been waiting for him.

"We're ready."

"I'll be bringing two gods to support you."

"The remaining gods need to stay here and protect the Main Universe and the surrounding universes."

Hearing this, Karl merely nodded.

"The support we can provide may be limited."

"The weakening of the will of the Multiverse affects us far more severely than you might imagine."

Eternity continued.

Karl shook his head.

He had never expected much from them anyway.

He had always relied primarily on himself.

"Who are the other two gods?"

Karl asked.

"Your old acquaintances, the Vishanti, along with Gaea, the Goddess of Earth."

Eternity replied.

Karl nodded.

He was fairly familiar with the Vishanti.

Gaea, on the other hand, was someone he had never met.

According to various rumors, she was Thor's biological mother.

In ancient times, she was also rumored to have had intimate relationships with quite a few powerful beings.

If all the gossip were believed, the situation surrounding her and Odin would have been remarkably complicated.

However...

The moral standards of gods were completely different from those of humans.

To them, matters like these were hardly significant.

Karl merely entertained the thought privately.

"Karl."

"The most important problem now is figuring out how to find Abraxas."

"With his current strength, if he decides to hide, there's no way for us to locate him."

Eternity shook his head.

They were all Abstract Entities.

Their combat abilities might vary...

But when it came to unusual powers and concealing themselves, there were probably very few beings in existence who could compare with them.

If Abraxas truly wanted to hide...

They would have virtually no way of finding him.

"Why do we need to find him?"

"I think we should make him come looking for me instead."

Karl spoke coldly.

Eternity fell silent after hearing that.

...

Two days later.

Karl stood within the seemingly endless void of the Multiverse.

An incomparably powerful aura radiated from his body.

This was the first time...

That Karl had completely revealed the full extent of his terrifying power to the entire world.

The surrounding void trembled.

The rules of the world revolved around him as though they were rising and falling in response to his presence.

Time flowed endlessly around him.

Past.

Present.

Future.

Time eternal.

This was Karl's greatest foundation.

The power of Time.

With Karl unleashing his power without restraint...

The entire Multiverse could sense his terrifying presence.

A projection of his body manifested across countless universes.

For a moment...

Karl's enormous figure seemed to loom throughout the entire Multiverse.

That magnificent figure and the power emanating from it caused countless living beings to tremble.

Many instinctively submitted before his presence.

Under ordinary circumstances...

Such an openly provocative display would already have attracted countless powerful beings looking for trouble.

But now...

Things were different.

Eternity had already informed most of the powerful beings throughout the Multiverse.

Naturally, none of them would interfere.

There was only Abraxas.

Only Abraxas.

The instant he sensed that familiar presence, fury surged through him.

Karl had literally beaten him to death once already.

Obviously...

That had not been a pleasant experience.

"Arrogant!"

"Far too arrogant!"

"How dare that damned brat do this?!"

"This is a challenge!"

"If that's what you want, then I'll use your life to announce my return!"

Abraxas thought furiously.

In an instant...

He unleashed his own aura.

It collided directly with Karl's.

Under the pressure generated by their two overwhelming presences...

Half the Multiverse began to distort.

The terrifying fluctuations made it seem as though the entire world were being torn apart.

"Abraxas, you already lost to me once, yet you still dare bark in front of me."

"Who gave you the courage to show yourself before me?"

"Aren't you afraid I'll kill you again?"

Karl's voice echoed through the void.

Abraxas's eyes immediately turned bloodshot.

As an Abstract Entity born directly from the rules of existence...

Abraxas had been favored by existence from the moment of his birth.

Naturally, he was extraordinarily arrogant.

Someone like Karl, who had begun as a mortal and climbed step by step to his current level, was precisely the kind of being Abraxas looked down upon.

How could he possibly tolerate Karl's provocation?

"You sharp-tongued little bastard."

"Today, I'll make sure there's nothing left of you."

"I'll cast you into Hell."

"I'll make you experience the most terrifying despair this world has to offer!"

Abraxas snarled.

"Heh."

"Countless people have said things like that to me."

"And yet, to this day, I still haven't met anyone who could actually do it."

"I already killed you once."

"Where does all this confidence of yours come from?"

Karl sneered.

Those words struck directly at Abraxas's greatest humiliation.

Being killed by Karl was the greatest disgrace he had ever experienced.

He simply could not tolerate it.

In Abraxas's eyes, it was equivalent to an insignificant creature somehow killing him.

How could he possibly accept such humiliation?

"DIE!!"

Abraxas roared furiously.

In an instant...

Gray waves of destruction erupted.

It was as though reality itself had been overturned and the entire world turned upside down.

An all-encompassing force of destruction swept in from the distant reaches of the void.

Everything in its path was instantly erased.

Across the seemingly boundless Multiverse, everything within sight was consumed by destruction.

This was a tide of destruction.

An entire ocean of destruction!

It was even more terrifying than before.

Even more hopeless.

The suffocating pressure was so immense that even Eternity, hiding in the shadows, felt his heart tremble.

Abraxas was supposed to be Eternity's antithesis.

But at this moment...

He was far more powerful than Eternity himself.

How was Karl supposed to withstand this?
