No matter what kind of battle it was, in the end, it was nothing more than a contest between opponents.
If the difference in strength was not overwhelming, then the true difference would emerge from their respective states of mind.
After everything Karl had experienced over the years, his mentality was extraordinarily stable.
Abraxas was different.
His emotions fluctuated violently.
With just a few words, Karl had already driven him into a rage.
The gods of the Marvel Universe did not have an endless variety of methods to begin with. Once Abraxas had been pushed to the peak of his fury, he would naturally choose an attack capable of deciding the battle in a single blow.
Karl had anticipated precisely that and had even prepared for it beforehand.
Countless patterns containing the origin power of time had been inscribed throughout his body.
If anything irreversible happened, the Law of Time would automatically take effect.
What Karl had not expected was that the power Abraxas unleashed in that instant would be so terrifying.
His body had actually been blasted straight through by Abraxas's attack.
After all these years, this was the first time something like that had happened.
One had to understand that Karl's physical body was incredibly powerful.
After so many years of training, he had pushed his body to an extraordinary extreme.
His body was no longer composed purely of matter. It had already begun transforming toward a state composed of energy and laws.
He had even integrated part of his soul into it.
Every single cell contained a portion of his origin power.
Although he could not regenerate himself back to full strength as effortlessly as those who specialized entirely in physical development, his body had unquestionably surpassed ordinary mortal limitations.
Even if an entire universe collapsed right beside Karl, it probably would not harm him in the slightest.
With nothing but his physical body, Karl could effortlessly crush ordinary multiversal-level beings to death.
One could easily imagine just how terrifyingly powerful his body had become.
And yet today...
That terrifying body had been completely shattered by Abraxas's attack.
The sheer horror of the Destruction Tide was obvious.
It was unquestionably the most terrifying attack Karl had seen since arriving in this world.
If Karl had not prepared beforehand, he might really have been killed by that attack.
Fortunately...
That possibility would never become reality.
"Abraxas, I wonder what else you can do now..."
"You shouldn't be able to use an attack like that a second time, right?"
Karl stared calmly at Abraxas.
Even if Abraxas possessed virtually inexhaustible power, an attack of that magnitude could not possibly be used casually.
Otherwise, why would he need to hide everywhere and fight those gods through hit-and-run tactics?
He could simply charge straight at them and kill them all.
Abraxas merely stared coldly at Karl.
The madness in his eyes still showed no sign of fading.
After a moment, Abraxas finally spoke again.
"How did you do it?"
"How could you possibly counterattack me at a moment like that?"
Abraxas simply could not understand.
The reason the Destruction Tide was so powerful was that the instant it activated, every rule in the surrounding area would be forced to give way before it.
No matter what other law existed there, it would be forcibly destroyed or distorted.
This was an attack born from the will of the Multiverse itself.
It possessed an extraordinarily powerful exclusionary nature.
Even beings at the level of the Five Great Gods could not avoid its effects.
That was precisely why Abraxas had been able to rampage throughout this world.
But...
Why could Karl do it?
Why could he still use the Law of Time?!
"Heh."
"Time exists everywhere."
"The reason you can't use it is simply because your understanding of time isn't deep enough."
Karl sneered.
Time.
It was unquestionably one of the most terrifying forces in existence.
So what if the entire world was destroyed?
If time itself stopped, how could destruction even occur?
Before the overwhelming power of time, every other kind of power was laughable.
Of course...
That also depended on one's comprehension of its origin.
Fortunately, Karl was lucky.
Abraxas's destruction had not surpassed the limits of his understanding.
"Since your trump card failed, it's time for you to experience the methods of a Sorcerer."
"Exile of Singhsoon!"
Karl roared.
Terrifying Psychic Power erupted from him.
This was one of Earth's legendary spells.
Who had originally created it had long since been lost to history.
However, its power was incomparably formidable.
It was unquestionably one of the most powerful spells in existence.
If the caster possessed sufficient strength, they could even manipulate all magical power throughout the entire Multiverse!
Karl's Psychic Power had not yet reached that level.
Even so, he could still mobilize nearly half of the magical power within the Multiverse!
In an instant...
The entire world began to tremble.
Mysterious forces emerged from unknown spaces and converged directly into Karl's body.
Karl's body instantly expanded.
He could even feel a painful swelling throughout his flesh.
That was the terrifying magical power gathered from nearly half of the Multiverse.
Even Karl, as powerful as he was now, found it somewhat difficult to control.
"Abraxas, didn't you look down on me?"
"Then take a good look!"
"Let's see whether you can withstand this attack!"
Karl's voice echoed from every direction.
It was vast and mechanical, completely unlike a human voice.
Karl was temporarily unable to fully control his newfound power, so he directly sealed away his own emotions in exchange for even greater Psychic Power.
The next moment...
A rainbow-colored beam shot from Karl's hand.
The beam was only about as thick as a barrel.
Compared to Abraxas's enormous body, it seemed utterly insignificant.
However...
The power contained within it had reached the level of the Five Great Gods.
When Abraxas sensed that terrifying power, a hint of fear actually flashed through his maddened eyes.
"...Impossible!"
"How can you possess such terrifying power?!"
"How can you wield all the laws of this world?!"
"Just what are you?!"
Abraxas let out a terrified roar.
The laws of destruction around him surged violently as he attempted to block the attack.
But...
This was an attack Karl had created by gathering nearly half of the Multiverse's magical power.
It contained the rules of the entire world.
Its power was terrifying beyond description.
Even beings at the level of the Five Great Gods would find it extremely difficult to withstand such overwhelming power.
Much less the current Abraxas, whose strength was far below theirs.
The rainbow-colored beam pierced straight through Abraxas's chest.
His bronze-colored body instantly lost all color.
It was as though he had suddenly faded into a black-and-white photograph.
His body turned grayish white.
It resembled dried clay, as though the slightest touch would cause it to crumble.
"What incredible power..."
Abraxas murmured before looking toward Karl.
"We will meet again."
"Once I reclaim my power, I will come back for you."
After saying those words, his gray-white body shattered completely.
It turned into dust and scattered throughout the Multiverse.
Karl merely sneered.
"Come back for me?"
"Then I'll just kill you again."
"I refuse to believe you can resurrect forever."
With those words, Karl immediately flew toward the deepest reaches of the Multiverse.
Fortunately, all the nearby universes had already moved away.
Otherwise, there was no telling how many of them might have been drained dry by what had just happened.
Karl sighed.
Golden light flashed.
His figure disappeared instantly.
