Chapter 306 - Chapter 306: Reversing Time! Outsmarted Completely!

Abraxas was furious.

He had always been an arrogant madman.

Otherwise, he never would have tried to take on the entire Multiverse by himself.

With Karl provoking him like this, how could he possibly endure it?

Although his expression didn't change much, the aura around his body became like that of a berserk beast.

He looked like a volcano ready to erupt at any moment.

His entire body radiated danger.

The instant he erupted, he could unleash terrifying power.

Naturally, Karl remained on guard.

Pale green light flickered around his body in layer after layer.

Meanwhile, golden lightning appeared in his hand.

This was once one of Kamar-Taj's most powerful spells.

The Bolts of Balthakk.

Originally, the spell made use of divine power bestowed by a god.

But now...

Karl's own power was already no weaker than that of such gods.

By infusing his own Laws into the spell, he transformed the lightning into something far more than ordinary thunder.

It now contained the destructive properties of several different Origins.

Golden light flashed.

Abraxas's body was instantly charred black, and he was blasted backward, tumbling through the void.

Karl immediately realized something.

Abraxas was indeed extremely powerful, but he didn't seem to possess any real defensive abilities.

When an attack reached him, he could only endure it head-on.

That was completely different from Karl.

Karl raised his hand again.

Another bolt of lightning appeared and was hurled toward Abraxas.

The golden lightning concealed its entire aura, appearing almost like an ordinary streak of light.

But its power couldn't be underestimated.

Everything standing in its path was shattered outright.

Abraxas tried to wear it down with his black destructive lightning, but it couldn't stop the attack at all.

The destructive lightning shattered the instant it collided with Karl's attack.

Even Abraxas was alarmed by this.

He couldn't understand it.

Why was this man's power capable of breaking the Laws he had been born with?

That shouldn't have been possible!

These were Laws that had grown together with the Multiverse itself!

How could they possibly be shattered by a mortal?

"It must be because I haven't recovered all of my power yet."

"That has to be it."

Abraxas thought furiously.

If not for the seal imposed by the Five Great Gods, he would never have become this weak.

If he still possessed the power of his prime, there was no way someone like Karl could have stopped his counterattack.

The thought left Abraxas feeling deeply frustrated.

"Damned mortal!"

"If it weren't for those Five Great Gods and that damned Living Tribunal, what right would a mortal like you have to stand against me?!"

Abraxas roared.

"Heh. 'If'?"

"If we're going to talk about what might have happened, then you shouldn't even have escaped in the first place."

"Talking about that now is ridiculous."

Karl casually threw another bolt of lightning.

Golden lightning flashed and struck Abraxas directly in the face once again.

His body was scorched black, his skin instantly turning dark.

Power of Destruction surged through his body, causing the charred skin to peel away.

"Abraxas, is this really all you've got?"

"I thought you were supposed to destroy the world."

"Looks to me like you're dreaming."

Karl mocked him.

He could tell that Abraxas's emotions were extremely unstable.

He constantly shifted between rage and madness.

Karl suspected there might be some flaw in his personality.

He wasn't like the other four Great Gods, those stable Abstract Entities.

Something might genuinely be wrong with Abraxas's mind.

All Karl needed to do was keep provoking him until he lost his reason.

Then Abraxas might do something irrational.

And clearly...

He was already approaching his limit.

The flames of rage had completely consumed him.

"You insignificant mortal!"

"You have awakened my true fury!"

"I'll send you straight to Hell!"

Abraxas had gone completely mad.

Karl raised his head and looked into the distance.

A gray-black tide came surging toward them from far away.

Within the void, it looked like an enormous tsunami had suddenly risen.

It resembled a colossal wall sweeping toward him.

Boundless.

Endless.

Everything in its path was crushed by its overwhelming power.

Even the damaged universes caught along its route were directly obliterated.

Karl understood.

That wasn't water.

It wasn't a real tide.

It was an endless mass of Power of Destruction and Cosmic Power!

At that moment, it felt as though the entire Multiverse was about to be destroyed.

As though the end of the world itself had arrived.

Even Karl, a multiversal-level existence, felt a suffocating pressure.

The fundamental structure of reality around him had descended into chaos.

Karl couldn't even use his Spatial Power.

"Die!"

"Before destruction, everything must perish!"

"You damned mortal!"

"Go to Hell!"

Abraxas roared.

A vast amount of black lightning surged directly toward Karl.

Golden light flashed before him.

A Golden Shield appeared and blocked the incoming attacks.

However...

The apocalyptic tide that blotted out everything was already crashing toward him from the distance.

The Power of Destruction erupted.

The Golden Shield before Karl shattered into raw energy in an instant.

Karl could only rely on his extraordinarily powerful body to forcibly withstand the endless tide.

It felt as though countless needles were stabbing directly into him.

The destructive force began attacking from the deepest level of his cells.

Even his Origins were being destroyed by that terrifying power.

Karl only managed to endure for several minutes before the horrifying waves of destruction finally crushed him to death.

Even Abraxas was somewhat astonished.

That destructive power was practically endless.

It was an attack he had unleashed using the Origin of the Multiverse itself.

A tide formed from the energy of this entire world.

Even one of the Five Great Gods would be severely injured, if not killed outright, by taking that attack head-on.

Yet Karl had actually endured it for several minutes.

Abraxas couldn't help wondering what kind of material the man's body was made from.

"Hahahaha!"

"But in the end, that brat is still dead!"

"No one can withstand my power!"

Abraxas trembled with excitement.

A wild laugh spread across his face.

"Abraxas, aren't you celebrating a little too early?"

At that moment, a calm voice rang out.

"What?"

"How are you still alive?!"

"You resurrected?!"

"That's impossible!"

"I understand now!"

"The Law of Time!"

Abraxas stared at him in shock.

When had he done it?

Abraxas hadn't expected Karl to use the Law of Time to bring himself back!

Or rather...

Karl had directly reversed time.

He had anchored the state of his body to a particular point in time.

Then, after Abraxas's attack killed him, Karl simply rewound himself back to that state.

Abraxas had never expected it.

This man's planning ran that deep.

How could Karl have known beforehand that he would need to rewind himself?

For once, Abraxas was completely dumbfounded.
