Mira got out of the car, running to the Karlye before he disappeared into the underground parking.
"Mr.lockhart, please wait ", she yelled.
He looked back and frowned, "You shouldn't be here, David, take her back ", he said.
"Listen to me " she yelled.
"Every second we spend talking could be putting her in danger ", he said.
"I know, but you need to know something ", she hesitated.
Karlye sighed, "Say it then " he pulled out a gun and she flinched back.
"Andriana might not be in a good condition, she was sick before being taken away, so ..." She stopped.
Karlye furrowed and when she didn't say anything more ,he walked off.
Mira turned to David, who moved closer, embracing her.
"It's alright we can still tell him after we get her back "he said.
"Why is he going in there alone ?" Mira asked . None of Karlye's bodyguards followed him inside .
"He wants to handle it himself and they are barely dangerous compared to what we usually face " said David.
It was dimly lit but he could see the parked grey car up ahead.
Karlye heard someone speaking.
"We can't wait anymore, either wake her up so we can make the video or the deal is off "
"Come on now, we have been partners for years now the least you can do is have some faith in me "
Karlye moved closer,seeing three men standing behind a staged camcorder, while a fat, ugly, short man was next to the bound Andriana.
Her head was down, she looked unconscious, and his huge fingers caressed her neck.
"I suggest you take your hands off her " Karlye walked in, he could feel his adrenaline pumping through his veins, raising his anger.
Mr Worm flinched back, recognising him right away.
"What the hell are you doing here " he yelled.
Karlye pointed at his hand still at her neck.
"I said take your filthy hand off her ", he repeated.
The three men looked pissed to be interrupted, one pulled out a combat dagger while the other two stayed back. Karlye's eyes stayed on the short ugly man next to Andriana.
The one with the dagger purged forward, but even without trying much, Karlye knocked him out filling his killer instincts kick in.
Mr Worm watched in horror as Karlye broke and beat up the other two men with ease before he turned to him.
His shaky hands raised in up , surrendering .
Karlye glared back at him.
"I swear I didn't mean to hurt her " "he stuttered as Karlye pulled something out from the back of his pants, pointing it towards him. "I swear it was those two they ..."
"Any last words ?" asked Kalryle barely holding back his urge to pull the trigger.
"Huh?"
"I gave you a chance to walk away but I guess you just wanted to die " he sneered.
"Please just list...."
Karlye pulled the trigger shotting him right through his head.
Mr Worm's huge body fell back.
The sound of the bullet and his heavy body falling back spread throughout the empty parking, startling Andriana awake.
He knelt, pushing her hair back. She screamed, trying to fight him away.
"It's me, love ...it's me " he let out.
Her terrified eyes opened gazing into his. Her tears flowed down her pale face.
"Karlye ..." her shaky voice called out.
He nodded, the anger in his eyes disappearing, she felt him free her from the restraints and falling into his embrace .
She was trembling as she held onto him but then she moaned.
"Ah...my stomach " she cried out.
"What's wrong ?" He pulled away.
"It hurts ", her bruised hands clenched her stomach.
He carried her up without wasting a second so he could leave, but felt something wet on his hands. Karlye frowned when he saw blood it was coming out of her .
She was bleeding ! .Had she been injured already before he got there?. Was it an internal injury for her to be bleeding like this? The questions filled his head as he ran off.
David and the others, whom he had told to wait outside, saw his frame with Andriana in his arms. Mira who had insisted on calling the ambulance noticed the fear in Karlye's eyes and ran towards him yelling, "Something is wrong "
She and the others had all heard the sound of the gun shoot . Mira wanted to know if her friend wasn't injured.
"What happened ?" she asked her eyes scanning Andriana body for bullet wounds, but saw none.
"She is bleeding ", he said, heading to the ambulance.
They placed her down and started getting her ready to be moved . She was in tears her arms still on her stomach.
They pushed the stretcher into the ambulance to set off, but Andriana moved, tugging onto Karlye's hand.
"I'm scared ", she cried.
"Are you here guardian ?" one of the paramedics asked.
He nodded
"Then you can ride with her " he said.
Mira stood back as Karlye got in with Andriana, and the ambulance drove off.
"She was bleeding, do you think ..."
"We should go meet them in the hospital " David said to her.

After two hours of waiting the doctor finally came out.
"Is she and the baby okay ?" Mira rushed to him before he could speak.
The doctor took off his mask.
"We where able to stop the bleeding, they are both fine. But we will need to observe her for a while since her pregnancy is still in the early, fragile stages," he answered.
"Oh, thank God" Mira turned to David hugging him.
"Pregnant , Andriana is pregnant ?" Karlye asked.
Mira's eyes widened, realising what she had spoken about.
The doctor nodded.
"It seems you had not been informed yet ,are you the father ?" asked the doctor.
Karlye slowly nodded, and the doctor tapped his shoulder.
"Congratulations, I will do my best to keep them both alive "
Karlye blinked thanking him. They watched him walk away.
Mira noticed Karlye staring at her and she hid away in David's arms.
"How long have you known?" he asked.
"We weren't sure, but she showed signs "She looked back at him, "and the bleeding made me more sure and then now the doctor confirmed it ".
"Does she know too ?" he asked.
Mira shook her head, "We had not discussed it with her yet "
He fell silent ,Mira looked up at David.
"He looks angry " she murmured.
The door opened and the nurse stepped out.
"You can see the patient now, but don't stay too long, she needs to rest ", she said.
"Karlye, why don't you go in? We will wait here ", said David.
He nodded entering the room.
Mira sighed.
"What is going to happen now ?" she asked.
"We will just have to wait and see "he replied.
