"Rest is for the weak."
Yuki followed, leaning against the doorframe.
"Or for people who aren't carrying two worlds on their shoulders."
Haruto finally turned.
He set the mug down.

He stood.

Yuki gasped—body tensing.

Yuki exhaled sharply.
"I felt… something else. Like darkness. But cold."

Miya's eyes widened.
