Synopsis
Forbidden Correspondence at the Aethelgard institute. Solis Kingdom was one of the prosperous kingdoms, soon to become an empire, in the heart of the kingdom, the Aetheldar Institute stands magnificently, the sanctuary of stone and crystal, where science and lineage are linked, emotions grow and prosper in the face of knowledge. Within its marble walls, the true experiment that will change the empire is not taking place in those laboratories, but rather between papers, letters, and red wax seals. Four men of absolute power and devastating beauty govern the institute with emptitude, money and knowledge. Alister Valerius, the cold-blooded, bit-tongued astronomer; Maximilian Thorne the geneticist of wild instincts, and master of the sword; Sebastian Calloway, architect and mathematician; finally Julian Steraling, the seeker of ancient secrets. United by duty and aristocracy, they decide to start the academic project with the sole objective of discovering the chemistry of affection and epistolary romance. What begins as a cold exchange of poems and treatises about devotion, the evolution of emotions and data, soon transforms into a polyamorous fire that threatens to melt the structures of the kingdom. As the words on the paper become bold, passionate, and real in feelings, the four dukes will navigate between the vigilance of the royal line of the project, to the ambition and cunning of desire; while they struggle with the ambitions of the counts and barons who propose loyalty to marrying their daughters to the power they have.

Chapter 1 - Arch I — The correspondence protocol.

Beginning of the experiment: intellectual curiosity and romance.

The most powerful and intelligent men in the kingdom, that's what we were, that's what we were supposed to be. We had the gold, the lands, and the fear of the Crown itself. But... That night, that night everything changed, the dukedoms, the kingdom, the laws, society, and above all us. That night under the roofs of the Aethelgard Institute, that project that changed our minds, our lives, vast galaxies of the universe succumbed to something beyond a project.

The experiment began as a project to understand love and obsession, the feelings and misfortune of some people that leads them to madness and from madness to death. The experiment that should begin with letters, simply changes and analysis, ended with love, with a hunger for emotions, and passions that could not be calculated.
