"JOO WOORI, wake up."
Huh?
Woori only realized that she had fallen asleep when Park Seoham shook her shoulder, waking her up gently.
When did I fall asleep…?
She wanted to ask that, but when she tried to speak, she realized that speaking hurt because of her sore throat.
Oh, I'm sick.
No wonder her body felt heavy.
"Get out."
"Excuse me?"
"I can't walk you to the hotel because people might recognize me, so you have to go on your own."
Hotel?
Woori looked outside the window.
Much to her surprise, she realized that the car was parked in front of a hotel.
"I booked a suite under your name, and it's already paid," Park Seoham said while handing her a card. "Use the company card to buy anything else you need. Medicine, food, whatever."
Since it was the company card, Woori accepted it without hesitation.
I don't get paid for this job, so I might as well enjoy the company card to my heart's content.
Anyway, Park Seoham probably did all of that while Woori was asleep.
I wonder how long I was out, though.
"Thank you, sir."
"If you still feel sick after taking medicines, then ask the hotel staff to help you get to the hospital or something. You're old enough to take care of yourself, aren't you?"
"Yes, sir," Woori said, pausing for a moment when she realized that she was about to skip work. "Oh, is it alright if I stay here at the hotel while you work? I'm your manager, so I should be with you…"
"While you're sick?" Park Seoham scoffed. "Do you want people to think that I'm a terrible boss for making my manager work while she's sick?"
Ah, okay.
Of course, Park Seoham can't be worried about me on a personal level. He's just trying to protect his image as an actor.
That kinda stung.
Just kinda.
"Okay, I'll go now," Woori said while removing her seatbelt. "My luggage…"
She didn't get to finish what she was trying to say because Park Seoham suddenly got out of the car without saying anything.
Omo.
What now?
Confused, Woori got out of the car.
And that was when she realized why Park Seoham also got out.
He unloaded my luggage.
"Why is your luggage bigger and heavier than you?" Park Seoham complained while gently pushing the luggage towards you. "It's not like we're staying here for a week."
The luggage was neither bigger nor heavier than Woori.
In fact, the luggage only reached her waist, and it wasn't heavy since it had wheels for easy mobility. Hence, it wouldn't put physical strain on her since she didn't have to carry it around.
I don't understand why this man is exaggerating.
"Can you really carry that luggage on your own?" Park Seoham asked, frowning. Then he took his phone out of his pocket. "No, you can't. Wait here. I'll call the hotel and ask them to send a staff—"
"Seoham-ssi, if you do that, I'll start thinking that you're worried about me on a personal level."
"Are you crazy?"
"You're the one who's making me overthink, so don't blame me."
Park Seoham looked stupefied for a moment, and then he sighed. "Go."
"Yes, sir," Woori said while pushing the luggage next to her. "Thank you for driving me here, and I'm sorry for failing as your manager."
Maybe she could push her luck a little?
"You can fire me—"
"No, you're not fired," Park Seoham said sternly while rolling his eyes. "Joo Woori, just give it up— you're stuck with me until I get tired of you."
Woori just sighed while turning her back on his boss.
Since when did he become this stubborn?

PARK SEOHAM bowed his head in apology as soon as he returned to the location.
The filming was delayed since he went missing, after all.
Everyone was actually confused because he left on his own, leaving Kwon Ana and Cho Inho there.
Fortunately, the director immediately resumed the shooting.
Hence, his colleagues didn't have the time to grill him for answers.
And, as soon as the filming ended that day, Park Seoham immediately retreated to his van with Kwon Ana and Cho Inho.
He had to sleep with the cast members later.
But, for now…
"Seoham-ah, why didn't you bring Joo Woori here?" Kwon Ana asked, confused. "Where is she? Did you not find her?"
"Joo Woori got sick after getting rained on, so I brought her to a hotel so she could rest," Park Seoham explained. "You know how she gets sick easily."
"So, you brought her to a hotel? Are you crazy? What if someone saw you?"
"I made sure that nobody saw me."
"You didn't have to do all that for Joo Woori."
"Then you shouldn't have given her the wrong location on purpose."
Kwon Ana looked shocked by Park Seoham's accusation.
"Seoham-ah, watch your tone and watch your words," Cho Inho said sternly, obviously defending Kwon Ana. "Did Joo Woori say that Ana gave her the wrong location on purpose?"
"What if Joo Woori did?"
"And you believed Joo Woori?" Cho Inho scoffed. "Are you stupid, Park Seoham? You'll believe Joo Woori over Ana?"
"I know how much you hate Joo Woori, and I know you can pull such a "prank" on her," Park Seoham said, looking straight into Kwon Ana's eyes as he spoke. "Kwon Ana, I know what you're worried about. But trust me— I'm not getting swayed by Joo Woori. So, you don't have to do this."
"Then you really believe Joo Woori," Kwon Ana said, obviously upset. "You didn't even ask my side of the story. She told you that I gave her the wrong location, and you believed her right away. That's quite upsetting."
Park Seoham wanted to explain, but they were interrupted by a soft knock on the window.
"Actor Seoham-ssi, the director wants to talk to you."
Ah, it was the assistant director.
"Let's revisit this later," Park Seoham said, giving both Kwon Ana and Cho Inho a stern look. "And let's all stay professional at work, okay?"
