A PRIVATE plane from Jeju Island to Seoul, huh?
Well, the company only rented the private plane for Park Seoham and his team, but Woori was still impressed.
Park Seoham has really made it, huh?
"What do you think, Woori-ya?" Park Seoham asked, obviously itching to brag about their 'ride' back home, after they settled in their very comfortable seats. "A private plane isn't bad, is it?"
"Yeah, not bad for a rented private plane," Woori said while leaning against her seat. "Your company is doing well."
The arrogant look on Park Seoham's face suddenly disappeared. "Someday, I'm going to buy my own private plane."
"Good for you, but why would you need a private plane? It's not like you're an idol who goes on a world tour often."
"Yah."
"I'm just saying that you don't have to leave a bigger carbon footprint in the world. I already feel bad that we're using a private plane when the flight to Seoul from Jeju is only a little over an hour…"
Woori trailed off when she noticed that Park Seoham was looking at her coldly.
Even Kwon Ana and Cho Inho didn't look happy with her nagging.
Oops.
I crossed the line.
"I'm sorry," Woori said, slightly bowing her head. "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience flying on a private plane."
"That should have been your attitude from the start," Park Seoham complained. "But, then again, you used to be a princess. You're used to flying in business class, so a private plane isn't that impressive to you anymore."
"Do you want to impress me, Seoham-ssi?"
And Park Seoham wasn't able to say anything to that.
"Woori-ssi, don't forget that Park Seoham isn't your friend— he's the artist you work for," Kwon Ana reminded Woori coldly. "Why are you talking to your boss like that?"
Right.
"I'm sorry," Woori said, bowing her head again. "I'll be extra careful from now on."
"Forget it," Park Seoham said, sighing. "Just order food or something."
I'll get indigestion if I eat now.
So, Woori just took a nap.
***
WHEN WOORI woke up from her nap, the plane had just landed.
Before she could get herself together, Park Seoham already made her wear a baseball cap with a visor big enough to cover her face, and a black face mask that did cover more than half of her face.
"Damn, your face is so small."
Woori lifted her head, wondering if she heard Park Seoham correctly.
But he didn't say anything yet while wearing a huge pair of dark sunglasses.
I can't see his expression, but his voice sounded pissed earlier. Should I apologize for having a small face?
It would sound dumb, though.
So, she just kept her mouth shut.
"It's going to be noisy in the airport," Park Seoham warned Woori. "You might want to put on headphones or something."
"Oh, don't worry— loud sound doesn't bother me."
In fact, Woori was more worried about the cameras.
The flashes, to be more precise.
"Seoham-ssi, do you have an extra pair of sunglasses?" Woori asked worriedly. "Can I borrow them?"
"I don't have an extra pair."
"Oh, I see—"
Woori suddenly couldn't see because Park Seoham removed the sunglasses that he was wearing, and then he put them on her.
"Seoham-ssi, how about you?"
"I'm used to camera flashes already," Park Seoham said casually before turning his back on her. "Let's go."

AS EXPECTED, the loud screaming of the fans didn't bother Woori.
But the camera flashes did.
Fortunately, all she had to do was lower her head to avoid them.
The dark sunglasses also help protect her eyes.
Plus, she also wore a hoodie that covered her head.
However, the continuous flashes of the cameras reminded her of the past.
"She's the daughter of that scammer couple!"
"Hurry, take pictures of her!"
"Student, do you have any message for your parents' poor victims?!"
Woori shut her eyes tightly while walking fast.
It had been more than a decade already, but getting mobbed by angry reporters was still fresh in her memories.
That unfortunate incident caused her develop a fear of flashing lights.
And the effects of that phobia were giving her physical discomfort now.
But I can't faint here.
Woori kept saying that to herself, but her knees were also about to collapse.
And when she thought she would trip, somebody literally grabbed her by the waist.
No, it wasn't Park Seoham since Park Seoham was in front of her— walking as fast as he could to get through the crowd with the help of the airport security team.
"Joo Woori, you're a liability."
Woori couldn't talk back to Cho Inho because Cho Inho practically carried her until they got out of the airport, away from the screaming crowd— away from the flashing lights that almost made her faint.
Oh, I survived.
***
SHE'S sick again.
Park Seoham clicked his tongue while looking at Joo Woori, who was sleeping next to him in the backseat of the van.
He noticed earlier that Joo Woori looked like she was about to be pushed by the crowd.
Hence, he asked Cho Inho to pick her up.
And, as soon as they got inside the safety of the van, Joo Woori collapsed in her seat.
How frail.
"Joo Woori, you're not really fit to work, are you?"
Park Seoham wasn't expecting an answer, so he was pretty surprised when Joo Woori opened her mouth.
"Am I getting fired now?"
"No," Park Seoham said firmly. "I'll work you to the bone, Joo Woori."
But maybe I should feed her well first…
