Branded forever as the Yellowed Eyed King, he abandons the throne and sets out on a path of vengeance against those who orchestrated his kingdom’s fall. Guided by wrath, watched by gods and devils alike, his journey becomes one of conquest, loss, and moral decay. Chapter 1 - A Reformation Of A Peerless King

All the regret washing up in me.

Why…did it all lead to this?

I, who was blessed from birth, I who had both the devil and God groveling at my feet.

The moment I took my first breath, the universe itself knew I was special.

I mean of course. It was me who was born that shifted the balance of the universe.

It was I who held the power, The King's Sovereignty.

It was all up to me to lead my people to greatness.

Yet, I sit here with a sword through my older brother's chest…

Why?

After my father died, everybody knew it was all up to me to lead us, the people. The kingdom.

Yet I sit here with tears in my eyes, watching the blood pour down my hands. His eyes that were once shining with life, now were so dim.

The beautiful bright sun, now shunned—stripped the world of light. What was brazen, now so dark.

The corruption that filled the world has brought the truth to my eyes. The outward appearance of the unbearable beauty of the world is now something I can't bear to soak in.

Everywhere I look, fires devour everything. The burning passion to take everything away from me.

Was this the price of being so perfect?

Now sorrow filled my mind.

With both a devil and angel upon each of my shoulders looking upon me.

Feeling their pity.

Their watchful gazes from above and below.

This kingdom that my dear ancestors worked so hard to build. Their blood, sweat, and tears. Their effort is all for nothing.

The great king I was supposed to be was taken away from me so unjustly.

The homes of the people burnt to ashes.

Every joyful moment I spent helping every citizen of my country. Waking up to the butlers and maids cleaning every speck of dust from the palace.

Watching out the window to see nature.

Is no more.

All became memories of the past. Lost, and never to be found again for the future.

Surrounded by dead bodies.

This sword that has been with me since my younger days as a little prince.

This crown at the top of my head. The symbol of a proud king.

It was something I didn't deserve.

Only revenge remained.

The only thing fueling thy anger.

Now I lay in this destroyed palace hall with my dead brother bleeding a lake of blood streaming down the castle halls. His body stretched out.

"Why!?"

I yelled out.

"Was this all for naught?"

My lovable brother, my mother's body in half.

The castle that bustled with life, now so bare.

It's fallen apart stripped of the proud providence it once stood on. The symbol of the people. People of great importance now plundered of what they deserved.

The rubble that was once the exquisite stone work of the best builders in my kingdom. The amazing colors that brought life and vibrancy to who set their eyes on it, now remained in black and white.

And it was I who knew who did this…

"I Shall Not Yield!"  I screamed with a burning fire in my eyes.

Mark my words.

To those who did us wrong.

Shall not get the chance to take another breath of life without feeling despair.

My suffering is what they will feel from the results of its havoc.

They manipulated my brother's pure mind into destruction.

Bringing an end to our reign and its peerless capital.

I got off the ground. Wiping my tears away and taking the sword I plunged into my brother's heart. This crown that signified power is now dry of it.

My eyes lit up. A golden light beaming from it.

The power was building up inside my body that I could no longer cage. I let it release up into the sky, as if I unlocked it using the key I vowed to never use.

That was the moment my words did not yield, starting my never ending promise to the world.

Where all shall know of my name.

The Yellowed Eyed King.

And it's sovereign reign.

I set out anew.

To a journey where pain followed.

The luxury of happiness was something I could not feel until I was done with revenge.

This was my path of vengeance…

A path where I Shall Not Yield…
