Fubuki sighed, smoothing her hair. The tension left her shoulders. She looked at the pathetic, shivering figure of Golden Glitter, then at the bald man in pajamas who had effortlessly protected her (and his cactus).
"Fine," Fubuki said, a small smile playing on her lips. "I will buy. But you are adding extra beef."
"Nice," Saitama grinned. "You are the best, Fubuki."

Ethan arrived in a mind that was a labyrinth of strategies, lies, and contingencies.
Lelouch Lamperouge sat in the Student Council room, playing chess against himself. He looked calm, but his internal thoughts were racing at a mile a minute.
(Lelouch. Stop analyzing the chessboard. We have a threat. A new transfer student, "Baron Von Steal", is currently on the roof with C.C.)
Lelouch's hand paused over a knight. "New student? The one from the EU? I checked his background. It seemed clean."
(It is fake. He is a Transmigrator. He possesses a Geass canceller—a device that nullifies your eye contact command. And he knows you are Zero. He is up there right now telling C.C. that you will eventually use your Geass on her to force her to die, just like you used it on Euphemia.)
Lelouch's grip on the chess piece tightened until it cracked. "He brings up Euphemia?"
(He is weaponizing your trauma, Lelouch. He is offering C.C. a 'True Death' without contracts. He claims he has a weapon that can kill an immortal painlessly. He wants to take her code. If he takes her code, you lose your partner. And she dies thinking you were going to betray her.)
Lelouch stood up. His violet eyes burned with cold fury. "No one touches C.C. She is my accomplice."
(He expects you to come running. He expects Zero. He has a trap set up—cameras everywhere to expose your identity to the world if you use your power. We cannot use Geass. We have to use... pizza.)
Lelouch paused. "Pizza?"
(Trust me. System Shop: Purchase Item "The Cheese-Kun Supreme Special - Pheromone Edition". It smells so good it overrides logic. Also, purchase "The EMP Emitter - Pocket Size". Go. And bring the pizza.)

The wind whipped C.C.'s long green hair. She sat on the edge of the railing, looking down at the campus.
Standing behind her was Baron Von Steal. He looked generic—slick hair, arrogant smirk, standard anime villain aesthetics.
"He is a monster, C.C.," the Baron said smoothly. "Lelouch uses everyone. Shirley, Kallen, Suzaku. You are just a battery to him. Come with me. I have the 'God Slayer' dagger. I can end your eternal suffering right now."
C.C. looked at him. Her golden eyes were unreadable. "You talk a lot. Lelouch talks a lot too. But he usually brings me food."
"Food is a distraction!" The Baron yelled. "I offer salvation!"
The door to the roof slammed open.
Lelouch stood there. He was panting slightly, not from exertion, but from theatrical effect. He held a large, flat cardboard box.
"Lelouch," C.C. said. "You are late."
"I had to wait for the cheese to melt," Lelouch said, walking forward.
The Baron laughed. "You came with a pizza? Really, Zero? I expected a gun. Or a mech. Do you think you can bribe an immortal with pepperoni?"
"It is not just pepperoni," Lelouch said, placing the box on a bench. "It is the Cheese-Kun Limited Edition. They only make five a day."
(Lelouch, the Baron is reaching for his pocket. He has a remote for the cameras. Use the EMP now!)
Lelouch didn't break eye contact. He casually slipped his hand into his pocket and pressed the button on the device Ethan had provided.
ZRRRT.
A silent electromagnetic pulse swept across the roof. The Baron's hidden cameras shorted out. His 'Geass Canceller' device, which was electronic, sparked and died.
"My tech!" The Baron gasped, feeling the vibration in his pocket.
Lelouch smirked. He ripped open the pizza box. The smell—enhanced by the System—hit C.C. like a truck. It smelled of melted mozzarella, spicy sausage, and pure happiness.
C.C.'s stoic mask cracked. She drooled slightly.
"Baron," Lelouch said, his voice dropping to his 'Zero' command tone. "You made two mistakes. First, you assumed C.C. wants to die more than she wants to eat."
"Second," Lelouch continued, stepping closer. "You assumed my power came from my eye."
He activated his Geass. Since the Baron's canceller was fried, the red bird symbol flared in Lelouch's left eye.
"Lelouch vi Britannia commands you," Lelouch said. "Forget you ever knew my identity. Forget C.C. And go... buy every pizza in the cafeteria and deliver it to the Student Council room."
The Baron's eyes glazed over with the red ring. "Yes... Your Highness. Pizza... is the priority."
The Baron turned and marched off the roof like a robot.
C.C. was already eating a slice. She looked at Lelouch, a string of cheese hanging from her lip.
"You are terrible," C.C. said, munching. "You brainwashed him to be a delivery boy?"
"He annoyed me," Lelouch said, sitting down next to her. He picked up a slice for himself. "And... I would never use Geass on you, C.C. You are the only one I don't have to lie to."
C.C. paused. She looked at him. For a moment, she looked genuinely touched.
