Lin Meiyin busied herself in the kitchen, and decided to make a few dishes. Soon the aroma of the food filled the house.
"What tha hell is she preparing!! It smells so good!! I'm so hungry right now" said . The dishes were served Wei Zhang and Qin Cheng's eyes shimmers, they start eating immediately. "This is so good!! What tha f*** it's the best tofu I've ever tasted In my life, how about I pay you to be my personal chef" said Wei Zhang.
Gu Chenyu gives him a don't you dare look, "Miss Lin your hands are gifted, I'm definitely coming here tomorrow Gu Chenyu you're so lucky you eat this everyday" said Qin Cheng. The guys couldn't stop talking and praising Lin Meiyin who's cheeks were turning red, "Look she's blushing she's so cute isn't she" said Pei Shao.
"Tell me how's she in bed feisty?"Qin Cheng asked, his whisper was loud enough for everyone to hear. Lin Meiyin cheeks turn redder she was eating quietly saying nothing her cheeks puffed like a little panda. Gu Chenyu growls and looks at him "If you don't shut up right now I'll kick you out " he said. Nan Rouchu was so annoyed and seething with jealousy what's so good about Lin Meiyin, she's taking away all the attention. "Why are you asking that kind of question Cheng, you she's just his wife on paper" said Nan Rouchu looking at Lin Meiyin who didn't seem to budge and continued eating. Gu Chenyu looks at Lin Meiyin who seemed not to care about what Nan Rouchu just said.
"I'm not sure about that " said Qin Cheng, "By the way Rouchu you should get married too, I heard you have a suitor" said Wei Zhang. Gu Chenyu looks at her "There's just a misunderstanding " said Nan Rouchu quickly explaining.
"Why are you explaining things congratulations "said Gu Chenyu. "You should spend some time with your fiance, and leave the headquarters in H city " said Gu Chenyu. Nan Rouchu smiles "No I'm fine " said Nan Rouchu.
"Everyone should live a good life and settle down I'm not depriving you of that " said Gu Chenyu.
"I'll hand over the headquarters to Chang" said Gu Chenyu. Nan Rouchu was speechless, "Chenyu are you trying to punish me I admit it I was wrong I shouldn't have done that please don't chase me away" she said.
Gu Chenyu says nothing and continues eating, Nan Rouchu looks at Lin Meiyin her silence was making her itchy. The dinner ended and they all sat in the living room, "How about we play cards" said Nan Rouchu.
"We didn't bring any cards" said Wei Zhang.
"I did" said Nan Rouchu bringing out a pack of cards from her bag.
"Lin Meiyin do you know how to play?" Nan Rouchu asked.
"I'll be good here you guys go on" said Lin Meiyin.
"Come on Lin Meiyin are you scared you'll loose you just have to try come on" said Nan Rouchu. Lin Meiyin looks at Gu Chenyu who signals her "Don't be rude now"he said. Lin Meiyin goes to the table and they began to play.
"Why is this getting more tense" said Qin Cheng.
"Three bamboo" said Lin Meiyin dropping her cards. Nan Rouchu frowns "She just won" said Qin Cheng looking at Lin Meiyin with a shocked facial expression.
"Miss Lin is really good here tell me did Gu Chenyu tip you off?" Nan Rouchu asked.
"I don't cheat by the way I know your trick" said Lin Meiyin winking at her and pointing at her sleeve there was a card inside.
Nan Rouchu was in shock and she hides the card, "Oh so we got a queen of mischief here" said Qin Cheng with an evil grin.
"Oh come on it's just a game" said Nan Rouchu,
"I have things to do I'll be upstairs" said Lin Meiyin about to leave.
"Why are you running away Miss Lin, stay and play for a while, how about we play truth or dare" said Nan Rouchu.
"Um I've never played truth or dare" said Lin Meiyin.
"Then you're missing out on a lot of things, don't be so old have some fun like a teenager, I feel offended" said Nan Rouchu.
Lin Meiyin nods and then sits down facing Nan Rouchu.
Nan Rouchu empties the wine bottle, "If you don't do as said you'll take two glasses of liquor" said Nan Rouchu, she spins the bottle and it lands on Qin Cheng.
"What's your body count?" Nan Rouchu asked him.
Qin Cheng looks at her and then frowns "Five" he said.
"That's for only this year" Wei Zhang whispers, Qin Cheng gives him a glare.
Qin Cheng spins the bottle and it lands on Gu Chenyu, "Who's your first love?" Qin Cheng asked.
Gu Chenyu looks at him and then at Lin Meiyin.
"The woman who saved my life" said Gu Chenyu.
"What's her name?" Nan Rouchu asked.
"I don't know" he said.
"Nan Rouchu no cheating?" Said Pei Shao.
"Come on it was just a question" said Nan Rouchu. Gu Chenyu spins the bottle and it lands on Pei Shao "I dare you to do fifty push ups" he said looking at Pei Shao who suddenly frowns "Oh come on man you still remember that stuff, you hold such a grudge " said Pei Shao.
"I'll pass" he said drinking two glasses of Liquor. Pei Shao spins the bottle and it lands on Nan Rouchu "Who's your first kiss?" He asked Nan Rouchu.
"Um no one" said Nan Rouchu, Nan Rouchu spins the bottle and it lands on Lin Meiyin, she grins "You are not so lucky after all Lin Meiyin, tell me what's the name of your first love?" Nan Rouchu asked. Lin Meiyin smiles "I'll pass" she said taking a glass of liquor, her face squeezes it was really strong. Lin Meiyin spins the bottle and it lands back on Nan Rouchu "Truth or dare Nelly" she said.
"Truth" said Nan Rouchu.
"Do you love my husband?" Lin Meiyin asked with a smile. The air in the room seemed to freeze.
"Why are you asking me that?" Said Nan Rouchu with a laugh.
"It's just a question" said Lin Meiyin"Listen we are all adults let's get things straight" said Lin Meiyin.
Nan Rouchu smiles "I did ever since university" said Nan Rouchu with a smile, she looks at Gu Chenyu and saw that her confession didn't seem to move him. Nan Rouchu felt her heart melt seeing he didn't budge, she spins the bottle and it was back at Lin Meiyin.
"Lin Meiyin do you love Gu Chenyu?"Nan Rouchu asked.
Lin Meiyin looks at Gu Chenyu and then at everyone in the room, "I think I'll pass" she said, taking another glass. She didn't see the disappointed look, on Gu Chenyu's face.
"You don't love him so you, Gu Chenyu did you hear that she doesn't love you she's just using you as a substitute for her ex lover, this woman is scheming, she's still in love with your brother" said Nan Rouchu.
" I did not say I didn't love him either why are you making a fuss by the way where did you hear that" said Lin Meiyin.
"Then I dare you to kiss him right in front of us" said Nan Rouchu her voice loud.
Lin Meiyin stood still her eyes red she clentches her fists and then she holds Gu Chenyu by the collar kissing him. Nan Rouchu's eyes widened, turns out her plans were ruined. Lin Meiyin let's go "Have a good night" she said going upstairs.
"Where are you going running away from me because I say the truth" said Nan Rouchu.
"It's your choice to believe whatever you want" said Lin Meiyin without looking back.
"By the way I married Chenyu, that's something you'll never get to achieve in a lifetime" said Lin Meiyin dropping the bomb.
