Lin Meiyin was in the living room and it was Sunday when her phone rings, she wanted to spend some time at home relaxing, Gu Chenyu wasn't home, he left early. Lin Meiyin looks at the unknown number and answers. "Hello, Lin Meiyin speaking" she said, her facial expression changes when she hears her father's voice. "Meiyin it's me, we need to talk, come to the old house" he said hanging up. Lin Meiyin wondered her father had been gone for three years and now he suddenly appeared calling her to come in a very urgent manner like she committed an offense. Lin Meiyin leaves the house and then goes to the old house, she sees Nanny SuSu wiping a cupboard. "Hello Auntie" she said waving to her. Nanny SuSu was in shock "Yin Yin is that you what happened to you where have you been" said Nanny SuSu, hugging Lin Meiyin.
"It's a lot complicated I'll tell you later" said Lin Meiyin patting her back. Nanny SuSu looked sad and had gotten really thin.
"Since you left this house has been a nightmare for me, I know you didn't run away from home, I want you to prove me right" said Auntie SuSu.
"Miss Li said a lot of bad things to Mr Lin she told him you ran away with a strange man" said Auntie SuSu.
Lin Meiyin sighs and then nods " I'm glad you believe in me" said Lin Meiyin, she goes to the living room and sees her father sitting down drinking a cup of tea. "Lin Meiyin you where have you been?!!" He yelled at her.
"I'm supposed to be asking you that same question" said Lin Meiyin.
"How dare you talk to me like that!!" He yelled.
"I kept your stepmother in charge and you cause trouble for her, you sold our family shares and then ran away with it ruined the marriage agreement with the Gu family and then you left with your gold digger boyfriend " said Lin Zhong .
Lin Meiyin starts laughing looking at Lisa who was holding her baby standing next to Miss Li Fanghua their face looking pitiful.
"You unfilial child!! Why are you laughing you think this is funny!!! Huh you are going to apologize to your stepmother" said Lin Zhong.
"Zhong dear just let her be children make mistakes" said Li Fanghua. Lin Meiyin laughed harder and then smiles.
"Apologize over my dead body" said Lin Meiyin.
"You dare to defy me, huh!! Kontow and beg for your stepmother's forgiveness" said Lin Zhong.
"Never I'd rather die than apologize to her, they should be the ones apologizing to me, who stole my fiance right under my nose who was shameless enough to sleep with my fiance and even hold her head up high carrying his child" said Lin Meiyin. "I'll never apologize" Lin Meiyin yelled.
Lin Zhong hits her "You were cheating first and you dare to insult your sister, by the way you couldn't even keep your fiance, he got bored of you and he left you for your sister I'm ashamed of you, you are going to apologize to them, hold her down "said Lin Zhong to the servants who quickly held Lin Meiyin down. "You are going to beg for their forgiveness " he said.
Lin Meiyin was being pressed against the floor they had slammed her head against the floor.
"Lin Zhong just let her be" said Jenna.
"Touch a hair on her head and you'll all pay the price!!" Came a familiar voice. Lin Xuewei's eyes widened, how did he know she was here.
Right there at the door was Gu Chenyu his face didn't look good.
"Who are you to talk to me that way this is my house, tell me are you the gold digger Lin Meiyin ran away with?" Lin Zhong yelled.
Gu Chenyu's face turns darker, he was with four well built men who were in suits. David snaps his fingers and they hold Lin Zhong down. The servants let Lin Meiyin go, her forehead was swollen. "What are you doing let him go " said Li Fanghua. "Hold her down too" said Gu Chenyu helping Lin Meiyin up.
"Brother in law please let my father go he just wanted Lin Meiyin to apologize" said Lin Xuewei. Gu Chenyu looks at her and then sneers he takes Lin Meiyin to the couch and makes her sit on his lap, "How about I make you all apologize and kontow according to the times you've offended my wife" said Gu Chenyu stroking Lin Meiyin's hair.
"We didn't do anything Lin Meiyin has been an ungrateful brat" said Lin Zhong, the man holding him slams his head on the floor.
"You're still unrepentant of your sins, you deserve to lick the dirt some more" said Gu Chenyu.
"Mr Gu please have mercy we didn't do anything wrong we're your family too since Lin Meiyin's your wife" said Jenna.
" Lin Meiyin doesn't consider you as family so I don't " said Gu Chenyu.
The men make them kontow some more and then when Lin Meiyin feels satisfied she tells them to stop. "That's enough " she said to the men, who look at Gu Chenyu and he nods agreeing with her. They let them go
"Dare to touch a hair on Lin Meiyin's head again and you'll receive much more pain and suffering this is just a tip of the ice berg" said Gu Chenyu standing up wrapping his hand around Lin Meiyin's waist and pulling her closer to him.
"Let's go " said Gu Chenyu taking her away.
"Dad were you okay?" Said Lin Zhong rushing to her father's side his forehead was bleeding. "Let me go why didn't you tell me she was married "said Lin Zhong.
"We didn't know she meant that much to him" said Lin Xuewei.
"Lin Meiyin has hooked up with the illegitimate son of the Gu family " said Lin Xuewei.
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier" said Lin Zhong, he looked like he was planned something.
Gu Chenyu stopped the car looking at Lin Meiyin who's forehead was swollen and red he touched it and she yelps. "Does it hurt?" He asked. "It does thank you for saving me on time " she said.
"You think I'd let them bully you " said Gu Chenyu.
"My father probably has something up his sleeve now" said Lin Meiyin.
"Let's go in" said Gu Chenyu withdrawing his hand and then they go into the house.
"By the way how did you find me?" She asked.
"I have my ways" said Gu Chenyu.
"Um are you hungry how about I make dinner" said Lin Meiyin.
"Sure" he nods he had been craving her dishes for days.
Lin Meiyin goes into the kitchen and has already started washing some vegetables when she heard some voices walking into the living room.
"Hey bro you just left us and ran away because of a princess" came Qin Cheng's voice. Gu Chenyu's facial expression changes they were going to ruin his dinner with Lin Meiyin, now when they could finally spend some time alone they came at the right time.
"How did you get here?" He asked.
"Rouchu showed us" said Wei Zhang. They were five in the group including Gu Chenyu, four men, Gu Chenyu, Wei Zhang, Qin Cheng and Pei Shao and one lady which is Nan Rouchu.
Qin Cheng stretches his head looking around and then house "Where's the little bride" he said going into the kitchen.
"There she is found her" he said dragging Lin Meiyin out of the kitchen to the living room. He whistles and sizes her, Lin Meiyin felt embarrassed he turned her around "quite thin, but very beautiful tell us little bride how did you catch the single god?" He asked.
"Uh-" Lin Meiyin gives Gu Chenyu a helpless look.
"Let her go and stop harassing her, don't scare her " said Gu Chenyu dragging Lin Meiyin to his side, Lin Meiyin was still putting on an apron that had tomato paste on it. "It seems like we came at the right time I'm hungry I'm a foodie I hope you don't mind" said Wei Zhang. They all stared at Lin Meiyin like hungry wolves and she hid behind Gu Chenyu who also felt like hiding Lin Meiyin away.
"Just go prepare dinner if you can't Aunt Chu will do it okay" said Gu Chenyu like he was coaxing a child. Lin Meiyin nods "I'll help you too I know what the guys love to eat" said Nan Rouchu.
"No thanks I can handle it" said Lin Meiyin with a smile going into the kitchen.
Qin Cheng looks at Nan Rouchu "I smell vinegar" he said, Nan Rouchu grinds her teeth "She doesn't seem to like me Gu Chenyu I'm just trying to be friends" said Nan Rouchu.
"You're such a good friend, telling my wife I'm in the shower" said Gu Chenyu. Nan Rouchu freezes as the other three look at her, "Rouchu you didn't did you" said Wei Zhang.
"I...I ... didn't mean to.... I thought it was just some random girl who was stalking you" said Nan Rouchu.
"I don't need your protection, next time you won't do it again" said Gu Chenyu with a cold face. "You've stood by me doesn't give you the right to answer my calls" said .
"I'm sorry I understand " said Nan Rouchu putting on a pitiful repentant face.
