Lin Meiyin woke up the next morning she was on someone's lap, she slept on Gu Chenyu last night and there was a blanket on her. He slept so peacefully, Lin Meiyin rubbed her eyes and her forehead slowly remembering her condition last night. Gu Chenyu moved and he opens his eyes looking at her. Lin Meiyin turns her face away her cheeks had turned red again, "I'm sorry I must have tired you out yesterday" she said.
"I don't mind" he said his eyes weren't as cold as before. Lin Meiyin sits up the blanket slides down "Um I'll go wash up" said Lin Meiyin about to stand up when she hears a familiar voice.
"Sister where are you" came Lin Xuewei's voice both Lin Meiyin and Gu Chenyu's facial expression changes and they look at each other. Before they would stand up Lin Xuewei had already barged into the living room and saw the two of them sitting down it looked like they had just woken up.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to disturb such a romantic morning" said Lin Xuewei.
Lin Meiyin stands up "What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Zihan gave me this address I came to give you an invitation Zihan and I are getting married next tomorrow" said Lin Xuewei with a hint of pride, as she drops the card on the table. "Father Gu said he doesn't want the two of you to miss it I came to see my sister too and personally came to invite you" said Lin Xuewei with a smile.
Lin Meiyin smiles back " Sure I better start thinking about my gift, I wonder what took you two so long anyway I have things to do" said Lin Meiyin. Lin Xuewei pouts "Sister you can't even offer me tea brother-in-law she's so mean isn't she " said Lin Xuewei, trying to act cute. Gu Chenyu says nothing looking at Lin Meiyin, "I'm sorry but my mother didn't teach me manners don't be offended, husband let's go take a shower" said Lin Meiyin dragging Gu Chenyu away, his lips form a faint arc as he follows Lin Meiyin upstairs.
Lin Xuewei's smile faded "What was so good about Lin Meiyin, Gu Chenyu was like her lapdog worshipping her she felt a urge of pulling her hair. Gu Chenyu places his hand on Emma's waist as she leads him upstairs, "I don't like the way she stares at you, I swear I'm going to shoot her someday" said Lin Meiyin muttering to herself but Gu Chenyu chuckles and she slaps his hand away "What's so funny" she said.
"Scared she would steal me away" said Gu Chenyu with a teasing look. Lin Meiyin's cheeks turn red "And why should I care about that, Lin Xuewei is a typical slut she might try to seduce you, you should be careful, the way she looks at you there's something fishy going on with her" said Lin Meiyin hiding her embarrassment. Gu Chenyu smiles "Only one woman gets the right to look at me" he said, "She's looking at me now" said Gu Chenyu.
"You're overthinking things " she said going into her room and she closes the door. Gu Chenyu laughs and goes to his own room, Lin Xuewei sat down in the living room at least she had dropped her message.
After a while Lin Xuewei with stands up and leaves as she was going outside she saw Nan Rouchu walking in "Who are you?" Nan Rouchu asked, Lin Xuewei looks at her "I'm Lin Meiyin's sister" said Lin Xuewei taking off her shades.
"Oh it's you, Lin Xuewei top 5 hottest model in H city you're Lin Meiyin's sister, I heard you're getting married soon" said Nan Rouchu.
"Yes I came to drop my wedding card my sister doesn't seem to be happy about that" said Lin Xuewei putting on a sad face.
"Here's my card how about we have lunch later" said Nan Rouchu giving Lin Xuewei her business card.
"Okay" said Lin Xuewei taking it and leaving, Nan Rouchu goes into the house and sees Aunt Chu.
"Good morning Miss Nan Rouchu do you need anything?" Aunt Chu asked.
"I forgot my purse here, so I came to get it" said Nan Rouchu.
"Oh yes" said Aunt Chu, Nan Rouchu goes to the living room and sits down she looks around the house but sees no sign of Gu Chenyu and Lin Meiyin.
She looks at the blanket on the chair, Aunt Chu comes to the living room and gives Nan her purse.
"Did Chenyu sleep here last night?" Nan Rouchu asked.
"Um yes Master Lu and the Madam slept here together on the couch, I didn't want to disturb them so I covered them with a blanket" said Aunt Chu hiding her mischief, she felt a hint of satisfaction when she saw Nan Rouchu's facial expression change. "Um would you like to stay for breakfast, Mr Lu and the Madam will be down in a minute " said Aunt Chu.
"No thanks I'll be leaving for work " said Nan Rouchu hiding her anger, she goes into her car and then screams.
"They are supposed to be avoiding each other, what's so good about Lin Meiyin, she's driving me crazy she should just go to hell and never come back " said Nan Rouchu driving away. Lin Meiyin comes downstairs feeling refreshened, "Um has she left?" Lin Meiyin asked Aunt Chu.
"Yes Mrs Gu immediately she left Miss Nan Rouchu came in, she came to get her purse she forgot last night" said Aunt Chu.
Lin Meiyin nods "I hope those two didn't meet at the door and start plotting something against me" Lin Meiyin mutters to herself.
"I'll have to extra careful then" she adds.
Aunt Chu had already set breakfast and she sits down and starts eating. Gu Chenyu joins her later, it looked like he just shaved, he wore a blue turtle neck and a black windbreaker he didn't wear a suit today. He looked a bit brighter than other days Gu Chenyu was stealing a glance at him and he noticed it "What's wrong?" He asked her.
"Um nothing" she said burying her head and focusing on her food. Gu Chenyu felt his heart skip a beat as he saw her stealing glances at him.
"I'm leaving for work you be a good girl" he said ruffling her hair, Lin Meiyin frowns and looks at him.
"What do you want me to give you a good bye kiss like a real couple" he whispered. Lin Meiyin's facial expression darkens "What are you talking about?" She asked him.
Gu Chenyu leaves "How about I give you a good bye spank" she said to him, as he closed the door so he wouldn't hear what she said.
Lin Meiyin stands up and then she leaves for work. "Madam the master is really fond of you" said Aunt Chu.
Lin Meiyin didn't know what to say "I've never seen Master Lu care about any other woman apart from you" said Aunt Chu. Lin Meiyin's cheeks turn red and she nods and goes for the door.
Lin Meiyin goes to Jeong foundation and does some lectures and she sits down later by the violin playing succession main theme. Fu Shichen stood by the door looking at her, Lin Meiyin was like a goddess you couldn't help but get attracted to her no matter how hard you try.
"Look at you so immersed in work I wish I was that violin" he said clicking his tongue.
"Maybe then I could get your attention more" said Fu Shichen. Lin Meiyin stops playing and smiles "Hey what are you doing here?" She asked.
"I hope I'm safe, by the way I've been sleeping with my eyes open" said Fu Shichen sitting by the piano.
"Don't you have work to do you love free time" said Lin Meiyin.
"You know, you owe me lunch" said Fu Shichen.
"Okay I should make it up to you I'm hungry too let's go eat out" she said wiping her hands.
Fu Shichen follows Lin Meiyin and they go outside, unknown to them another pair of vicious eyes were watching them, it was a woman. "So Shichen left me in London just to come find this bitch I'll teach her a lesson and show her to keep away from my man Shichen is mine, I'll call some boys let's see how she'll be able to walk around with her head high seducing people's men when she'll have some sextapes to hide" said the lady putting on her shades.
