The flowers were blooming in the field. Sun was bright. There was a stone were a girl was sitting on it.
Silver and shiny hair, glowing bright skin, ocean like blue eyes, a beautiful smile that can melt anything.
She was holding a rose in her hand. Baby wolves were playing around beside her. She was smiling at them. A cold but soft breeze went past through her, making her hair fly beautifully.
Then, her eyes fell on him, her childhood friend the one who's fated as her mate. Mark.
He approached her.
"What are you doing here, Luna?" he asked.
Luna just smiled at him.
"Just enjoying the view. I'm really excited today that finally my wolf will awake tonight."
Luna was 22 years old. Her wolf hasn't awaken yet. She doesn't know why her revelation of wolf is delaying for 4 years when it should have happened when she turned 18.
She was waiting for her wolf to awaken because without it she can't marry her mate.
"Let's go, Luna, you need to get ready for tonight's revelation ceremony." Mark said.
Luna nod her head and got off from the stone. They held each other's hands and began to walk towards their own houses.
In the way back home Luna look at Mark and asked.
"What if my wolf didn't awake this time too? What will you do then?"
Mark smile at her, "Then, I'll still marry you even if your wolf didn't awake."
Luna softly smile at Mark, touched by his words. She has always loved him truly from her heart.
Once she reached her home, she began to get ready for the revelation ceremony. She open her cupboard and pull out a suitcase which is her parent's.
She place the suitcase on the bed and open it. There was her parents old photos with their letters, Luna's old clothes which she used to wear when she was a child and a beautiful silver gown which was her mother's.
The gown was made of silk with embroidery work on it. Glitter was sparkling on the gown to give him more beautiful look. It was an elegant gown.
she pick up the gown and wore it and went to see herself in the mirror to see how the does the gown looks on her.
It was a perfect fitting like it was made for her. She was looking really beautiful.
"I wish, you could see me in this gown, mom and dad." She murmured. A single tear roll down her cheek as her parents memory flashed before her eyes.
She took a deep breath to hold herself and put a smile on her face.
After that she went to the moon temple where the ceremony will gonna happen. Where everyone will gonna awake their wolves and find their mates. Where moon goddess will bless them so they can live happily together.
Everyone was present there. even Alphas, Omegas and elders too. Every young boys and girls were excited for their first wolf revelations.
Luna arrived there. She searched for Mark but he was nowhere to be seen. She asked Mark's friends if they have seen him or not but they told her that they didn't saw him.
She got a little worried. A unfamiliar fear was ignited in her heart. She wasn't sure why was she feeling this way.
Everyone began to gather around the circle of Alpha stones. All the boys and girls got excited when the revelation ceremony got started.
One by one everyone awaken their wolves and found their mates.
Luna was only left now. She look here and there for Mark but he nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly, a familiar scent touched her nostrils. The scent was Mark's. She felt relieved when her eyes fell on Mark who arrived just now.
But, her happiness didn't last long when her eyes fell on a girl beside Mark. They were holding hands and smiling at each other.
Luna felt like her heart stopped beating, earth slipped from beneath her feet. She sensed that the girl seems close to Mark, too close to each other...
She went to him and asked "Mark, where were you? I was so worried about you. And, who is this girl?"
Mark had an annoyed expression on his face. He wrap his arm around that girl's waist and pulled her against his side before looking at Luna.
"She's Jessica. MY MATE."
Luna's eyes got teary. She never thought that the man whom she loved the most, will betray her like this with someone else.
"Why? Why did you do that to me?" Her voice cracked.
"Because, i can't wait for you my whole life to awake your wolf. Jessica is my mate, not you. And, I'm gonna marry her."
Luna stumbled back after hearing his words. Tears freely fell down from her eyes.
"Y-you promised me that you'll marry me even if i didn't awake my wolf. How could you... How could you do this with me?! I loved you truly!"
But, Mark ignored her tears and walk past by her. A wicked smirk was playing on Jessica's lips. Everyone was witnessing the scene before their eyes but no one said anything.
Suddenly, the energy got charged in the moon temple when everyone felt a strong presence, a strong smell of an Alpha.
All eyes turn towards the gate of the temple and there he was there. Skyler Blake, the strongest Alpha, THE LYCAN KING.

"SHE'S MY MATE. and tonight i announced that I'm gonna marry Luna soon." He declared loudly for everyone to hear without breaking eye contact with Luna.
