As I kept following the guildmaster, he started to speak.
"I saw your application. In the trade part, you wrote Adept. What is that?"
Oh, it's about that.
"I trained mostly in everything. So, I couldn't just write one trade when I learnt more that one trade."
"What do you mean more than one trade?"
It's going to be bothersome to explain everything step by step. It's better to just shrugs my shoulder.
The guildmaster was confused at my gesture but didn't question anymore. He led us to the background of the guild. It's just an open space where everyone trains, duel or test new applicants.
"Ok Lucas. This is it, the training area where we would be duelling."
I can see that. It looks like that clerk would be the referee of this duel. Did the guildmaster pick a swords. He's aura is off the charts. He's the first one I've seen with this kind of aura.
Oh. He has no mana on his body. So this is an S-rank .
"Lucas, do you have a weapon or are you going to pick a weapon?"
Maybe I should trying fighting bare handed first and see what happens.
"I have a weapon but I ain't going to use it just yet."
He's probably thinking I'm cocky or something.
'It's weird. He's standing infront of me but I can't sense him at all.' The guildmaster thought as he looked at Zain.
"Okay Lucas, tell me when you're ready and we'll start the test."
"I'm ready. We can start anytime."
The clerk just looked at both of us before she signal us to start the test.
Time to test it. Let's not make a mistake like last time.

Oh, he's not falling. He's got a good standing.
'Is it just me or did the pressure get heavy? No, he's the cause of pressure. If I was weak, I'd probably would have fallen without knowing what knocked me out. What a monster.'
"I think you're doing this Lucas. Okay it's time to attack since you started it."
Zack used a flash step and tried slash Zain using downwards slash but Zain moved sideways to avoid the slash.
Zack kept attacking but Zain used minimum movement to dodge every slash.
He even closed his eyes to dodge him.
Maybe I should engage him.
Zain stepped back.
"My turn"
He used flash step and stand infront of Zack
*MARTIAL ARTS: DAWNBREAKER TECHNIQUE*
*PHASE 1 - CLAIM THE LINE*
He started to punch Zack's chest, stomach and head.
Zack tried to block or dodge but his speed was not equal to Zain.
It looks like Zain can predict where he's going to block.
The milliseconds he tried to block his right side, Zain attack the left. If he tried to block the left, Zain attack the right.
If Zack tried to block the front, Zain used flash step to appear in the back and attack Zack.
Zack didn't have time to do anything because Zain controlled the centre and flow of the fight.

Zain was about to punch Zack but Zack covered his whole body with aura and Zain pulled back immediately.

As I used flash step to take a backstep and check my forearm.

Zack attacks, I counter him.

Blocked it and hit his right rib.
He tried stab me.

Misdirected the stab and punched his stomach.
It's weird that I'm affecting the him without doing any extra work.

He's already sweating but he's not backing down.

He's bleeding inside but he's not showing it.

If we keep pushing it, he might die.

Why is he fighting like he wants to prove something.

Zain used flash step and backwards.
"Hey, Let's stop this. I'm not even sweating."
That's when Zack realise that he was the only one bleeding and sweating.
He cancelled his aura and began moving forward to Zain.
"Huh... Huh.. Huh... Lucas, Can I ask you something?"
"Yes you can."
"Do you know how to use aura or mana because I can't sense any in you and yet you've beaten me?"
"I can use both but there was no need to use any."
I don't need to push it and say 'Datte kimi, yowai mon'
"Oh I see. Your rank is...."

[3rd POV]
Guildmaster Zack stood at 6 feet tall. He was muscular with broad shoulders and his body was probably covered with scars cause his face had scars.
The scars on his face wasn't bad. They made him look badass.
He looked like if Solid Snake and 616 Nick Fury(not Jr) had a baby, the baby would look like him.
He's not missing an eye though.
Dressed in tight jeans with big boots and look black jacket.
As he descended downstairs, he tried to assess Zain but found out Zain had no mana or aura.
'It's weird that he's standing infront of me but I can't sense.'
Zack was confused even when Zain followed him, he still couldn't sense him.
As they reached the location, Zack took a sword but even Zain didn't take any weapon.
Zack was confused but let it go.
As the clerk started the match, Zack felt the pressure increased and almost incapacitated him.
Even when Zain attacked Zack with Regal Force, Zack was confused on what he did.
He rushed forward to attack Zain but he look too slow in Zain's eyes. Zain dodged him easily, he even put his hands on his pockets to dodge eyes.
He eventually closed his eyes but he could still dodge him. Zain realised that was not going to do anything.
Zack was attacking Zain, he didn't realise when Zain was already in front of him and ready to attack.
He attack Zack and Zack couldn't even block because the seconds Zack tried to block, Zain attack the other side.
Zain did that until Zack decided to use Aura.
Zack's speed and power increased but it was still to slow in Zain's eyes.
Zain even tanked the Aura attack but all it did was leave a scratch on him and not a bruise or cut.
Zain changed his technique and decided to counteract Zack.
Zack kept attacking even when the ground was getting destroyed, Zain was able to counter every attack Zack did.
Zack's subconscious gave up in the middle of the fight but he was still attacking.
He was trying to make Zain bleed at least but no matter what he tried, Zain didn't give him a chance.
Eventually, Zain stopped the fight.
When Zack heard what Zain said about him not sweating, he felt defeated.
When he heard Zack can use both Aura and Mana but didn't see the use of it, he felt crushed.
Zack remembered something, 'Wait, Lucas said he had a weapon but he didn't use it. I thought it was arrogant but I guess I was the arrogant one.'
"Oh I see. Your rank is A-Rank. I can't make you S-Rank but you have my recommendation to become S-Rank. You just need to find another S-Rank and get their recommendation or maybe ask the King but you shouldn't." Zack said to Zain.
"I appreciate the gesture. Thank you for the rank sir." Zain said with gratitude.
"No no, don't call me sir, just call me Zack."
Zain just said okay to Zack's gesture decided to shake Zack's hand.
*HEAL*
Zack began to recover all his strength and energy. He's body was heal.
"Lucas,did you just heal me?"
Zain nodded and looked at Zack.
'What a MONSTER.' Zack thought.
