Zain thought that Iso was right to question who was that person. 'I think I might have an idea who it is.' thought Zain.
Zain find it weird that the day hasn't ended because a lot of things have happened in a single day and its not even afternoon.
"What a weird day. It's not even a day yet."
Zain walked around the streets after leaving Iso. He started to tour the entire kingdom. He first tour around the capital were most businesses happened and the royal castle was at the end of the capital.
He went to the commoner district and found out that the district is gloomy. The commoner district is so poor that theft was legalised in that area. If someone gets killed or go missing, they don't care besides the person who care about that person.
The was the outskirts were there's bunch of villages. There villages were small, the villagers focused on hunting and harvest the wild plants. They would harvest the plants and vegetables, sell them at the kingdom.
The Capital and The Commoner District were inside the border that's covering the kingdom.
Ravenscar Kingdom has 3 areas.
The Capitalwere nobles and adventures live and it's were business are operated.
The Commoner District were commoners. Smugglers, thief, prostitution and gangs can be found. The Black market is found between the capital and the commoner district because the nobles tend to enter the black market to purchase some "goods".
The Outskirts is out of the border. Most outskirts are managed by the nobles but nobles neglect their responsibilities because they manage they're regions and those people in the outskirts tend to rely on themselves.
Obviously the king controls the kingdom but nobles tend to gather their ideas before the king does. There's not that many noble houses but not few either. Every rank of nobility is filled.
The rank of nobility goes like this:
The Knights are part noble and part commoners. Their ranks depends on their skills and popularity. A Holy knight's rank is lower that a Duke and a normal knight is lower than a baron. If a Holy Knight swore loyalty to a baron then the Baron's certain decision can influence the kingdom. A Knight that serves the King can make big decision that doesn't damage or endangered the kingdom or royalty.
The Archduke is below the King. They tend to control big regions and collect taxes that governs the region. They are very powerful nobles.
The Duke is below the Archduke and they often control a medium regions. The are powerful.
The Marquis often guards a border territory. They're mostly military-focused. Anything that has to do with military and protection.
The Earl governs the county and the kingdom's administration. The control the small region.
The Viscount governs the smallest region that is big as a village but they mostly help the Count/Earl.
The Baron is the lowest of nobility They usually controls town within a region. They don't much responsibilities besides report to higher nobles.
Of course there are hereditary titles like baronet or prince/princess. Most people who inherited their titles are often called young master/lord or unless they choose otherwise. The Prince or Princess are higher in ranks than Archduke but if they have no supporters, certain power or notable figures, then they're words and actions mean nothing.
Commoners don't view nobility in good light. There are those who like them individually but as whole, they're not liked.
Zain explored all the regions without causing anything. After he was done, he headed to the inn to sleep.
The following day was not that bad. Zain woke up and took a stroll while eating skewers he bought. Zain knew that he was being followed by the same guy who kept following him. Since the guy did nothing but follow him, Zain let it go.
Zain remembered that he no other clothes besides the ones he's wearing. He decided to go and buy some clothes.
"Hello sir, how can I help you today?" A woman greeted him when he was about to enter the store.
The second he entered the store, his nerd sides came out. He once thought about getting isekai, gaining a system, go on adventures with a bunch of people, getting betrayed, seek revenge, become more powerful, get married, have kids and die by the king's hands.
He smiled brightly as he checked every clothes in there store.
He saw a cape and decided to put it on himself. He said after "I'm Batman".
He started doing the Doflamingo walk while doing the evil laugh. The people on the began to think he's crazy.
He saw brown long boots and said in a certain accent "I'm Puss in Boots. I do not fear Death.haha"
He didn't know what to buy and thought to himself, 'I've always wanted to do this.'
He looked at the lady who was helping him pick clothes and said, "Miss, I'm buying every outfit that fits me except the woman's clothes. I don't swing that way."
"Sir, are you sure? It's gonna cost more." The miss asked out of concern.
"Yes. I'm sure. Pack everything up."
Zain started to fit in every clothes one by one. After he was done picking all the clothes that fit him, he packed all of them and the lady said.
"Sir your total is 4 gold and 33 silver coins."
Zain looked shocked after the lady said the price.
"Did you calculate right?" Zain asked in surprise.
"Yes sir, the original total is 4 gold and 45 silver but there's a 12 silver coins discount if the clothes are bought in bulk." The lady said as he looked at Zain in worry.
Zain said in shock "REALLY!"
"You guys are cheap." Zain said as he took out 6 gold coins from his pouch. "Here's 5 golds for the clothes and here's 1 gold for your service."
The lady was shocked when she saw Zain pay extra and even give her some.
The lady packed his clothes and Zain left while carrying them. He didn't put them in his spatial storage in there store because it was probably going to create a scene. He didn't care about the person who was following him if he saw or not.
He went straight to the inn. He saw May serving her customer alone and probably her son went out to play. May saw Zain come in carrying clothing bags, she greeted him and continue serving.
Zain went to his room.
He put everything on his spatial storage, changed his clothes and decided to go out again.
