Haruto says to Hirata and Amaru while narrating his story "It does not end here, the story still continues, even quietly."
After my father's assault, my mother immediately contacted the local authorities and told them what happend exactly though it was futile and they did not believe what we said, though they did not say they did not believe us but we knew from their expressions and responses.
While my mother contacted the authorities, I called an ambulance and emergency services for my older brother Kairen, as he was in a very critical state. My poor mother lost a significant amount of weight due to the shock and emotional distress.
And Kairen has remained in a coma ever since. My mother and I alternate shifts to care for him, ensuring he is fed and administered his essential medications. Though despite this calm a very quiet storm was brewing without anyone knowing but I...
In that period I continued school normally, without telling anyone what happened and why Kairen was in a coma, I provided my classmates some superficial answers like "Oh, Kairen is ill!" Or "Kairen has a health condition that I can't tell you at the moment."
Thankfully my school grades did not drop much and in fact I felt ever more motivated to study more, to prefer for my future! I always told myself that knowledge is my weapon, so I kept studying and without any breaks and that has not changed at all!
Besides school, I worked as a barista, somehow I managed to convince my mother to let me work, so that she works for less hours and be more present by Kairen's side, and though on the surface everything seemed to have calmed down, I noticed some strange things happening.
The first time I noticed one of those strange encounters was when I was at work, I was doing my job normally and making a drink, specifically a minted lemonade for a customer, a normal person would not have noticed but there was a person, though I did not see him or confirm his existence, I felt as he got closer, the stronger the shivers I felt, not in a good way! As if I had been being watched by someone, Also another thing I should mention after my Father's attack, I turned to training my combat powers, I never stopped a day and actually built some decent muscle from that training. I mostly trained using a sword secretly, since owning a sword in itself is not only illegal, but I can't publicly be seen using it.
Every time I trained, I had a strange feeling as well, unlike the goosebumps I feel as I was being watched, but something inside me, like some type of energy flowing through my blood, though not that kind of physical energy, it is kind of difficult to explain butthat is the best I can explain it. I even used the internet to watch some samurai stuff tutorials which some find funny but I was dead serious.
There is also one time. As I going back home from work, I was walking in the city of Zahlè that is when I heard the same portal that opened when my dad was sucked in that portal, or rather I should say the sound of opening of the portal itself opening, though I did not see the portal itself of whatever that was, it was very bright heard I could see a very intense Golden light from a behind a building. someone speaking in Early Modern English, though I did not notice anything out of the ordinary back then but I thought it was strange, maybe it is linked to my father in some way.
Two of these patterns kept happening again and again, except that time I heard that sound of the portal and I am still not even sure if it was a portal or just my imagination.
The only thing that is worth mentioning from the remaining of my past is that We tried pur best to move on from that day, though we did not fully, we still kept trying our best! My mother regained most of her weight back and she looked healthier and more good looking than ever! She even moves Kairen's muscles in his bed such as stretching his legs and hands as she was feeling that Kairen was going to wake up at any moment and she even still does it to this day. As for me I focused more on my career and future! I quit that barista job and went part-time tutoring in English, for higher school grades since I am into more advanced English and not entry level. I got the most average grades ever in school and high school though I always excelled in English! Do I even need to say it again? I graduated high school with slightly above Average grades, and actually I am kind of cool with it especially my English grade was excellent, that was the most important thing for me.
Before university I got very deep in literature, I was very interested it as well as for my readiness in university since I know literature courses are time consuming, that is why I am getting the background of the major literary figures and the most famous literary piece such as "The Tell Tale Heart" or "There will Come Soft Rains", not to mention "Robinson Crusoe" and a lot more other workers and thankfully all that hard work paid off in University.
Fast forward to today, it is August 16th and I am telling you (to Hirata and Amaru) my story and how I came to have this knowledge about the Branch of Language and at what cost. And thanks to Hirata, everything is starting to add up and come into place! With Hirata and now Amaru our teacher, I will uncover my Father's true motive and identity and most probably kick his ass! Not to mention my goal of understanding the powers of the three Branches and my own power as well! That is everything!
A moment of silence takes over after Haruto finishes telling his story.
Then Hirata speaks with teary eyes "H-Haruto! I am truly for your past, you must have suffered... I pray for Kairen's speedy recovery."
Amaru stays silent with a sympathetic look on his face towards Haruto that tells Haruto everything without any words.
Haruto "Now, I got to find a way to heal my brother and make him wake up from the coma! I am 100% sure that with these powers, I can definitely save him!"
Hirata "You are extremely right Haruto! We have to save your brother! Do you agree Amaru sensei? I am sure you a have a clue about saving his brother right?"
Amaru responds "Yes, it is possible to Save your older Brother's life, Haruto Okabe."
Haruto with an enthusiastic look on his face and speaks louder than he usually does "REALLY? HOW?"
Amaru answers "First let's call this a day, that was a lot to process, you two are dismissed! I will call you once needed."
Haruto "I see! Thank you for giving me hope, Amaru!"
Hirata "Thank you for today, Amaru sensei! Can't wait for the next lesson truly!"
Then a portal appears behind Amaru then he jumps in it and then it closes and vanishes.
Now it is a starry night 10pm
Hirata "I guess it is time to go back home, thia day was hectic."
Haruto with a genuine smile on his face "Hmm, you are right! It is getting late and my mother will be worried, let's go back home, Hirata!
Then they both retreat from the woods and call a taxi and wait for it, 15 minutes pass and during that 15 minutes Hirata and Haruto chat while waiting for the taxi driver. Then the taxi arrives and both go back to their homes and go to sleep.
