Haruto says "It all started on December 1, 2018. Actually everything in my life was fine."
Haruto continues "I and my mother wanted the most normal life ever, truly that is all we wanted, yet you know this world is cruel, you had to get robbed of everything dear to you."
Haruto "Our life was very normal and peaceful, it was the life I have always longed for."
Hirata and Amaru listen to Haruto with a sympathetic look on their face.
Haruto "In December 1 our days was normal and all, it was I and my mother and my older brother, we were living like any normal family, we were doing some normal house work, and my father was absent for almost my entire life, I did not even remember how he looked like and still do not to this day as I had never directly looked at his face."
Haruto " My mother was kind and hardworking, she had a successful job, and it was our only of financial support since our dad was literally non-existent in our lives. But thankfully her salary was high and could afford us a comfortable life. Though I always I insisted to work, my mother always told me no to focus on my studies and live a normal teenage life."
Haruto "My mother's name was Hoshine, and my older brother's name was kairen, which was an Arabic name with a japanese twist."
We used to live in a lebanese city called Zahlè
Haruto narrates "December 1st, the first half of the day was actually very VERY normal, eerily, I and my older brother Kairen went to school as usual and we had our very normal classes without knowing what that day had in store for us, I remember being the popular one in the school because I was the topper in English in my school, I remember having good relationships with my English teachers specifically, that shows how much how I loved English, it was amazing honestly, while my older brother was good at math, imagine, I was the family's google translate which I kind of find funny."
We returned home from school, made our own lunch since our mother had been at work, I guess being fatherless has its perk, especially the independent part, we made some ramen, not the instant but the one that is offered in japanese quality; high quality and insanely tasty and not to mention the healthier part.
Haruto continues narrating; After lunch we washed the dishes and cleaned our mess then we sat and focused on studying till evening, then my mother came back home, we were overjoyed every time she comes home because we love her so much, she is the best person in our life! She was our pillar to live, she was so amazing that we actually never gave a damn about why father left us, we know no matter what the reason is our mother was in the right! We know for sure.
Haruto continues narrating "Then I went to buy groceries to make dinner with my mother, Kairen stayed home with my mother helping her with other errands to ease household chores, I don't know but the atmosphere felt strange, I knew something was going to happen but I was not sure! It was really strange, goosebumps every now and then, I'd call that my instincts to be honest and my hunch was spot on, as I was walking to get those groceries I kept looking at the starry nights, at the stars, as if they were trying to tell me something in morse code though I never learned it, but somehow I understood it without actually directly understanding, that is what I call a sign."
I finally arrived at the supermarket. I picked some Jalapeños, a whole rotisserie chicken, some seasonings such as curry, garlic power, eggs, potatoes, sunflower oil, and big bottle of coke, then I went straight to the cashier and paid with cash after he swiped and scanned every item I had chosen. After this I headed back home, and I kid you not when I say the stars were shining and illuminating in a very bizarre manner, as if they were telling me to hurry back home, a misfortune was at my doorstep.
I headed back home faster than I went from it to the supermarket, I rushed to the door and found everything normal, I sighed out of relief and I went to the kitchen to put the groceries that I had bought to prepare for dinner, tonight we were making a whole rotisserie chicken with curry flavor! I was seasoning the chicken while my mother was doing the main tasks for cooking, her cooking was something to die for...
as I and my mother preparing dinner, the sound of sizzling as well as forks and knifes colliding were audible. Then suddenly I heard a loud scream, it was my older brother's Kairen voice! I rushed to the scene with every muscle I got with panic, I will never forget that sight... I immediately rushed to the source of the noise to find my little brother unconscious and bloody, he was severely injured and went in a coma ever since, though he is still alive, he still has not woken up from that coma.
Then I screams Kairen's name, seeing him in that state, I burst out crying immediately with my mother, I told my mother to stay back swearing I will protect her and my older brother Kairen no matter what...
Hirata asks Haruto "Who hurt your older brother?"
Haruto says "It was a man, a man I never expected to see in my life, well I even forgot about his entire existence, it was my father!" He was smirking and was about to finish off my older brother but I instinctively attacked him and pushed him away.
Haruto; I remember my father saying those words to me, very clearly I could never forget them! He said "I cannot believe my son is a disappointment, no wonder why I left you! Not to mention the existence of another." While he startes to at me with a cold, heartless expression.
My erratic breath and panic were almost ruling me at that moment, I could not believe my own eyes! I never believed that man was my father, I said to myself whose father would go as far as to kill his own son, not to mention abandon them without any notice and reason.
My mother bursts out crying uncontrollably when she sees my father. She says "T-that is impossible, why did you come back? I thought you left for good!" Hoshine says that while she was in the back looking at what is unfolding right in front of her eyes.
Haruto says to his father in the memory "W-what do you want? Why did you come back? Are you really my father?" I said to my father... and his answer was "Because I have something that belongs to me, which is your older brother's life, he has the key to awaken my true powers, from the beginning you all were nothing but tools to me."
Haruto screams to his father with absolute rage and sorrow "You do not even know Kairen's name! You are no father! You are dead to us, never come back and vanish!"
Haruto narrates; I was insanely shocked from what he said, my mother was traumatized and crying as everything was unfolding in front of her, seeing her husband, or rather ex-husband trying to kill his own children with cold, heartless soul. I got a knife and was about to throw it at him out of anger and hatred, somehow the moment I threw the knife the knife spinned so fast a portal opened and sucked him in، though I do not know where he gad gone or if he intentionally opened that poral. Though before he got sucked inside that portal, a strange book fell from him, he tried his best to catch it but the gravitational force of the portal was stronger than his efforts so he failed to catch it.
As he was trying to catch it he was saying "N-no, I can't afford to let anyone have this book, this power is mine and only mine!" Then his speech gets interrupted and switches to screaming as he gets completely sucked in the portal.
Then I got that book and was curious to see why my father was so fixated on it, why was holding it on dear life? As if it is his own family!"
Haruto continues narrating; After what happend, we immediately called an ambulance and emergency services for my brother for he was in a critical condition, my poor mother lost a ton of weight due to the shock and the emotional distress, and my brother has been in a coma ever since them, 7 years later, though he is physically doing well, he is still stuck in the coma, and I and my mother switching shifts to take care of him by feeding him food and giving him important medications.
