Keeping a distance from the couple wasn't entirely difficult. As a deer beastman, moving silently and hiding in secret was second nature to me, nearly on par with the tracking skills of the tiger tribe.
Albeit I could not see the snake beast's rank mark, it was glaringly clear that he was far too powerful.
He was so strong, in fact, that he didn't even care that strangers were trailing him.
I guessed a lot of them were just like me, hidden in the shadows, competing for a single glance of her favor, hoping for a mere chance to converse.
I walked carefully at a distance so I wouldn't startle the beautiful female. It didn't seem like the snake beast would tattle to her anyway.
And since the female remained completely unaware of my existence, I suspected she didn't come from a lineage of strong, sensory acute warriors.
But she was highly intelligent.
