"Lily already has a second husband. We can manage everything you need. You don't need a weak deer."
I let out a soft laugh at Tigris's dramatic display, though the sudden crush of two massive, alpha predators holding me tightly made my face burn with a bit of heat.
I gently pried myself from their arms and looked at Axis.
"I'm sorry, Axis, but I'm not looking for another mate," I said directly, giving him a polite but firm rejection.
Without waiting for his response, I scooped up a few of the precious purple onions from the sack, turned on my heel, and walked back to my kitchen area.
Axis desperately wanted to say something more, his hands reaching out toward me.
But the two predators, who had completely ignored him as a non threat just hours ago, now stood side by side.
