Aria was given the go ahead to start. The match would only be a couple of minutes long, so she was going to make the most of it. Before starting she got a notification from her system.

Well I can't pass up a reward like that. Let's win this! With the additional motivation she started running straight ahead towards Victor with her daggers in hand.
Once she got close, Victor swung his greatsword in an arc in front of him. Seeing the massive swing coming, Aria ducked and avoided getting her head chopped off. At least its easier to see the attacks coming, but still he swings that huge sword easily!
Standing back up from her dodge, Aria swung her daggers out in a cross diagonal shape towards Victor's chest. He leaned back as Aria's daggers sliced the air instead. Nimble bugger, even with a massive sword.
After dodging, Victor straightened out bringing his sword over his head and swinging it down towards Aria. He swung, just like a lumberjack would swing an axe to chop wood. Aria being the log of wood in this case, dodged by rolling to her left. Victor's greatsword struck the earth where Aria just stood. Dust scattered.
Aria took her chance and stepped in towards Victor, swinging her right dagger at his shoulder. Victor reacted by swinging his sword which still lay in the earth, in a diagonal slash in Aria's direction.
Aria saw the swing and tried to jump backwards. This time she wasn't able to quite dodge in time, as the tip of Victor's sword scratched her on the arm just above her elbow.

It's hard to dodge that thing every time, it's reach is also insane. Aria was trying to figure out how to deal with a greatsword. Her advantage should be speed with her daggers but Victor was so overwhelming that it was useless against him.
This time Victor acted first and lunged forward, stabing the sword at Aria's stomach. Again she stepped back again as his sword pierced the air instead.
I need everything I have for speed, add 3 stats to speed.

Feeling the changes instantly she rushed in towards Victor's feet and slashed towards his ankles. I just need to slow him down!
Victor jumped over the daggers swiping at his feet, he landed on the ground and threw a spinning front kick at Aria.

Aria not being able to react, was nailed in the solar-plexus and was sent sliding backwards by a few feet. Gasping for air, she decided to use a skill as her last option.
[ Activating Skill Aetheric Flash - Speed/Agility stat is multiplied by three times for 3 minutes. Costs 5 AP to activate. Cooldown: 5 minutes. ]
Feeling the new changes to her body, she ran at Victor once again with renewed vigor. This time she was so fast, a normal human wouldn't be able to see her.
Victor had a surprised look on his face as Aria was showing unbelievable speed.
Aria took advantage of his reaction, and went for an overhead stab with both daggers towards Victor's upper body.
Before Aria made contact, Victor's eyes began to glow as they shifted to a brilliant red colour that matched his hair. He was able to swiftly react and block Aria's strike with his greatsword. Putting in a bit more strength he pushed her back as she staggered before regaining balance.
Ready to go again, Aria readied her daggers as Victor lowered his stance. His red eyes glowed as though they were on fire, the ground cracked underneath him as he dashed towards Aria. He swung his sword overhead and jumped towards Aria, striking from above. Aria blocked with her daggers crossed, but she was overwhelmed by Victor's sheer strength. She was slammed to the ground as the dust rose around her. She was in great pain but she was still blocking his sword.
[ HP: 265/300 -> 225/300 ]
"Enough, times up! Class is over for the day!" The instructor shouted out to the students.
Victor eased his pressure and brought his sword to his side, leaning on it. Aria was laying flat on the ground, panting as she looked at a notification.

What a bummer, how the hell is he so strong. At least I didn't lose anything from the failed quest.
Aria slowly got up from the ground and dusted off her uniform. She could heal later, but still that last blow hurt. Victor had a massive smile on his face as his eyes turned to their normal emerald green shade.
"You gave me a startle with that speed a minute ago," Victor said.
"It still wasn't enough though," Aria admitted feeling a bit disappointed.
"Still I haven't had a good fight like that in a long time, you improved a lot since last week. What's your secret?" He asked with interest.
"I'm training my body a lot, just trying to get as strong as possible." Aria told him.
"Well you are the only one in this class worth sparring, so want to be regular sparring partners? I can put in a request to the instructor, and it shouldn't be a problem." Victor really wanted to have a full uninterrupted battle with Aria, his bloodline loved the thrill of battle and Aria was his optimal opponent. Aria on the other hand, didn't want to stand out too much.
"I'll consider it," she said before heading to the change rooms. She remembered a certain warning from a girl in the hall with white hair. I don't want extra trouble if I can avoid it.
Meanwhile the instructor, Ms Everett had her own thoughts. There is no way that she's an F-rank, she made Victor use his bloodline to fight her. I won't report her yet, but I'll keep an eye on her for now.
