Aria looked backstage her system notifications once she reached level five.

[ Hybrid Path (Rank: ???) - By combining both Celestial and Titan heritages, learn abilities from both paths. Forge a new path bridging the gap between the two races. ]
Aria looked at her options, uncertainty clouded her mind. They all sound amazing, but which one will suit me best? Until now the Celestial skills have been the most useful for Aria, but the physical stats of the Titan path is certainly appealing. The gravity manipulation aspect was something that could certainly be a game changer. But then there was the hybrid path. It wasn't very specific as to which abilities it could grant, but it could also lead to unexpected outcomes. Then their was the rank aspect. Both Titan or Celestial was a guaranteed SSS rank path for her to follow, but the question marks of the hybrid path worried her. It could be better or worse and she didn't know which.
"Ah what the heck, I'm a hybrid so I may as well fight like one," Aria grinned as she sporadically selected her choice.

Aria was blown away by the recent notifications. She couldn't help but feel like the system was preparing her for something. "What could it all mean and how much stronger will I get?"
[ New Main Quest Received - Level up to Level 20. Rewards: 2 new high level skills from both Titan and Celestial bloodlines. ]
"Well I guess for now, I just keep getting stronger."
Next up Aria wanted to distribute some stats.

Aria placed 1 point in "Strength" and 1 point into "Vitality/Durability".

As she placed the stat points, Aria could actively feel the changes happening. Her tendons and muscles felt more sturdy, she felt her bones become more dense. She started to feel like a Titan bloodline.
Next she added 4 stat points to "Resonance".

Finally Aria placed 3 points into "Endurance" and the last 5 stat points into "Speed/Agility". She looked at her newly adjusted stats.

Aria felt extremely accomplished after everything that happened. She wanted another chance to spar with Victor. Maybe the odds might tip in her favor just a bit more this time.
Feeling the exhaustion hit, Aria rolled over to the other side of the bed. Her back ached in protest. "I forgot about my injury earlier!" Aria sat up and activated her "Celestial Healing" skill. Her body began to glow as the skill started the healing process. After 3 seconds, the wound had healed completely. "This is such an handy skill," she said feeling the now flawless skin on her back.
Aria, freshly healed and back in the safety of her bed, fell asleep quickly.

The next morning, Aria finished her daily quest before getting ready for the school day.

The class excursion into the portal is tomorrow, I don't think I have to worry about what I might encounter in it. It won't be higher than a D-rank after all.
She headed to her homeroom classroom and picked up the group selection sheet sitting at the front of the room. Returning to her desk, she started filling out her name as well as Maya's name onto the form.
"I wonder who she managed to convince to be her partner?" A boy across the room mentioned.
Another boy responded. "Probably someone desperate enough to join. She seems to be very physically strong at least. It won't do much good against anything that's a D-rank though."
Well boy's, get ready to eat your words later. Aria didn't want to start trouble already this morning so silence was an option for now.
In the back of the room however, a figure moved that no one expected. Aria still filling out the form, felt like something was behind her. Looking around, she sees Eric standing behind her. She jumps slightly, not expecting him to be there.
"Ah can I help you Eric?" Aria asks with suspicion.
Eric looked at her for a moment before a slight smirk formed from his lips. "Yeah, put my name down on the list as well."
The entire room was silent. Not a single person had expected this outcome. "You want to join my group? Why?" Aria asked wanting to know more.
"I find you interesting F-rank flicker, I think it would be fun to join."
Sensing she wouldn't get any other answer from him, she wrote his name down. What's the harm? I think he is quite strong and could be useful. Aria was thinking proactively by agreeing to have him join.
Eric on the other hand, was interested in the secrets of this supposed F-rank. He noticed Aria wrote down his entire name on the form. Other than select professors, no one knows my full name. How does she have that info? Maybe she is a spy? But an F-rank cover would be the worst option for a disguise. Eric sat back down at his desk while he sorted through his thoughts.
Professor Hodgens then entered the room in the next minute. "Alright everyone, hand me your team selection forms. Anyone without a team, will be automatically assigned to one."
Multiple students got up and handed their filled out forms to the professor. Even Aria. Receiving Aria's, he looked at it as one eyebrow raised slightly. What an interesting group this will be?
