Later in the mess hall, Aria was sitting alone pushing her leftovers around on the plate. At this rate I am only getting 10 exp per day from my daily quest, I need something else to gain exp. Aria opened her system and went into the "Quests" tab. She saw a new quest that wasn't there before.

This was just the thing to make Aria motivated. Attribute points are extremely handy, and a new class sounded promising. Aria was now surrounded by many strong awakened, so she planned to make use of her Mythic Mimic skill soon. The cool down was long on this skill, so she wanted to choose her target wisely. For that though, she needed to find out more information about the awakened around her. *Ding*, Aria glanced at her system which was the source of the notification sound.

[ Know Thy Enemy Level 1 (Active)- Scan any living being within eyesight of the user. Depending on the level of the skill, more detailed information can be learned. No cost required to use skill. ]
The corners of Aria's lips pulled into a grin, this was just what she needed. She looked across the room at a table with a few students eating lunch together. Aria locked onto a student on the end, as she tried activating her new skill.

Now this I can work with. Aria was excited at the possibilities of this new skill. She could scope out the strongest students to use her mimic skill on, all adding to her own power.
She experimented more by scanning the students all around her. While the skill didn't have a cost, she could tell it was mentally straining if she used it too often.
After returning to the classroom later on, Aria saw the same student in the back of the classroom laying their head down on the desk. Out of curiosity, she activated her new skill.

Aria's eyebrows knitted together with confusion. Just who is this student? How can his bloodline and Rank be completely hidden from me?After Aria looked away, the very same student finally moved, after sensing something was off.
Eric looked up and stared in the direction of the strange sensation he just felt. Its coming from the new girl, he narrowed down the direction.
Eric had strong handsome features and his jet black hair was in a textured crop hairstyle. The sides were shorter, while the top of his hair was a little longer and styled with gel. His eyes were a steel gray colour that were cold and unsettling. He was tall at 6-foot-two, and intimidated many around him with just his looks and presence. He glanced at the floor, staring at the shadow of a certain new student.
Now that's odd, her shadow is different. It's more faint than most people's shadow, and why does it fluctuate like that?
No one knew much about Eric, just that he was scary, and had a bloodline related to darkness and shadows. No one knew his Rank nor did they dare try asking. He was surrounded my mystery, and stayed to himself.
Eric could tell something was off about the new transfer, but he didn't care to investigate further. He put his head down again and soon drifted back to sleep again.
Aria was unaware of the suspicions by her new classmates held towards her.
Moments later Professor Hodgens walked into the class, and began the next class.
