Chapter 6 - The Blade That Chose Him

The Sanctuary was silent.

Soft light filled the white halls.

Ancient symbols glowed on the walls.

Ji Young walked slowly.

Everything felt unreal.

Ji Min rested on a stone bed.

Her breathing was calm.

Light floated around her like small stars.

"She will be fine," Kael said.

"The Sanctuary is healing her."

Ji Young nodded.

But his heart was heavy.

"I'm weak," he said quietly.

"I couldn't protect anyone."

Kael looked at him.

"Strength is earned," he replied.

"Not given."

He turned and walked down a long corridor.

"Come," he said.

Ji Young followed.

They entered a hidden chamber.

In the center stood a stone altar.

On it…

lay a sword.

Its blade was silver.

Light lines ran across it.

The handle was simple, but ancient.

Ji Young stopped.

"What is that?" he whispered.

"The **Lightbound Blade**," Kael said.

"A weapon for those who protect, not destroy."

Ji Young shook his head.

"I'm not worthy."

Kael stepped aside.

"Then let the blade decide."

The room grew quiet.

Ji Young walked forward.

His hands trembled.

He reached out.

The moment he touched the sword—

The blade shone brightly.

Wind rushed through the chamber.

Symbols on the wall lit up.

A voice echoed.

"Guardian…

Do you accept this path?"

Ji Young closed his eyes.

He saw his village.

His parents.

Ji Min's tears.

"I do," he said.

"I will protect her.

No matter the cost."

The light softened.

The sword became warm.

It fit perfectly in his hand.

Kael smiled.

"It has chosen you."

Ji Young looked at the blade.

He felt something new.

Not power.

Responsibility.

Suddenly, alarms rang.

Dark energy shook the Sanctuary.

Kael's face changed.

"They've found us," he said.

From far away,

shadows gathered.

The hunt had begun again.

And now—

Ji Young was armed.
