Chapter 197 - Chapter  194 – The Day Everything Changed

Jay POV

The morning of the wedding was chaos.

Absolute chaos.

I had barely finished getting ready when voices started echoing from the hallway outside the dressing room.

Loud voices.

Very loud voices.

I opened the door slightly and peeked outside.

And immediately regretted it.

Hex and Aries were arguing.

Not quietly.

Very loudly.

"You weren't supposed to bring her yesterday!" Aries snapped.

Hex crossed his arms.

"Oh relax. The plan worked."

"That wasn't the plan!"

"Details."

Aries pointed a finger at him.

"I was supposed to bring Jay to the proposal scene!"

Hex shrugged.

"And I brought her."

"You made her walk into a wall!"

Hex tried not to laugh.

"She survived."

That's when Percy joined the argument.

Percy looked equally annoyed.

"I told you both the schedule!" Percy said.

He waved a paper in the air dramatically.

"I made a whole plan!"

Hex tilted his head.

"You make a lot of plans."

"And you ruin every single one!"

Their argument was getting louder by the second.

People walking past the hallway were stopping just to watch.

Felix leaned against the wall eating a pastry.

"Best wedding entertainment ever."

Ci-N nodded.

"Honestly I'm rooting for Aries."

Carlos laughed quietly.

Hannah shook her head.

"You guys are terrible."

Meanwhile the argument continued.

"You tied a blindfold on her!" Aries complained.

"It was dramatic!" Hex defended.

"You made her hit a wall!"

"She walked into it herself!"

"HEX!"

I finally stepped into the hallway.

"Can you all stop yelling before the wedding starts?"

They froze instantly.

Three guilty faces turned toward me.

Hex pointed at Aries.

"He started it."

Aries pointed back.

"He ruined my moment!"

Percy raised both hands.

"I blame both of you."

Felix clapped slowly.

"Beautiful teamwork."

I shook my head and went back into the dressing room.

Inside, Aunt Gemma and Aunt Serina were waiting.

Gemma smiled warmly.

"You ready?"

I looked down at the dress.

It was simple but beautiful.

Soft white fabric, elegant and flowing.

For a moment I couldn't believe this was actually happening.

Serina adjusted the veil slightly.

"You look amazing," she said softly.

My heart felt strangely calm.

After everything that had happened…

After the danger, the betrayals, the chaos…

This moment felt peaceful.

Gemma opened the door gently.

"It's time."

Outside, the ceremony area had been set up in the garden behind the building.

White flowers lined the aisle.

Soft lights hung between the trees.

Guests filled the chairs quietly.

Everyone looked happy.

Felix was already whispering jokes to Carlos.

Nathan and Miguel were arguing about something random.

Yuri and Rory were placing flower decorations properly because apparently Felix had ruined them earlier.

Hex stood near the aisle.

He was wearing a suit.

Which already looked strange enough.

But the proud expression on his face made it even funnier.

When he saw me, his eyes widened.

"Whoa."

"What?"

"You actually look like a bride."

"Thank you… I think."

Hex grinned.

"Ready?"

I nodded.

He offered his arm.

"Let's go."

The music started softly.

And we began walking down the aisle.

People stood as we passed.

Some smiling.

Some clapping quietly.

I looked ahead.

Keifer was standing at the front.

He looked just as stunned as Hex had.

Like he still couldn't believe this moment was real.

When we reached the front, Hex leaned toward him slightly.

"You break her heart," he whispered.

"I break your legs."

Keifer nodded seriously.

"Understood."

I laughed quietly.

Then Hex stepped back and joined the others.

The ceremony began.

The officiant spoke for a few minutes about partnership, trust, and choosing the people who stand beside you through every storm.

Then it was time for the vows.

Keifer went first.

He looked at me, slightly nervous.

"I had a speech prepared," he admitted.

Felix whispered loudly,

"Uh oh."

"But after everything that's happened," Keifer continued, "I realized something simple."

He took my hands.

"You're the strongest person I know."

His voice softened.

"You faced things most people couldn't survive. And yet you still care about everyone around you."

I felt my eyes sting.

"I don't want a future without you in it."

He smiled slightly.

"So if you're willing… I'd like to spend the rest of my life making sure you never face anything alone again."

The guests clapped softly.

Then it was my turn.

I took a breath.

"When I was younger," I said quietly, "I thought family meant blood."

I glanced briefly at Hex.

"But life taught me something different."

The guests listened quietly.

"Family is the people who stay."

My voice grew stronger.

"The ones who fight for you. Protect you. Stand beside you even when everything falls apart."

I looked back at Keifer.

"You were always one of those people."

A few people wiped their eyes.

Even Felix looked suspiciously emotional.

"So yes," I finished softly.

"I want that future too

So Jasper Jean Mariano Watson. I love you till scientist find the end of the universe ."

The officiant smiled.

"Then by the power vested in me…"

He paused dramatically.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife."

Felix shouted,

"FINALLY!"

Everyone laughed.

Keifer pulled me into a kiss.

Cheers exploded around us.

Hex was clapping loudly.

Aries shook his head but smiled.

Percy looked relieved that at least this part of the plan had worked.

Music started again.

People began celebrating.

The night filled with laughter, dancing, and stories.

And for the first time in a very long time…

Everything felt right.
