Mr. Tasha watched an episode of Tom and Jerry calmly.
It had once been a part of his childhood, sitting down and watching.
Yet every time he watched it, he was reminded of his childhood.
It had been the beginning of everything.
The emotions and memories it stirred were there only to be remembered.
In his childhood, Mr. Tasha watched Tom and Jerry, played with other children, fought with them, ran alongside them, climbed trees, dived into water, rang doorbells, and ran away...
But those were merely secondary memories.
Mr. Tasha had been truly responsible for himself.
He worked and struggled, refusing anything given freely.
He fulfilled his own needs, made his own bed, bought his own necessities, and paid his own debts.
His pride was evident, It was strange for a child of such an age to understand the value of dignity. A child like him was expected to grow and become someone of great importance, That was how people saw and understood him.
From a young age, Mr. Tasha knew how to deal with life on his own, He never knew despair.
That was how his character was formed.
From living with his family, to being expelled from the house, to the orphanage, to the streets, then returning to school and work to pay rent. His family never searched for him again, and the wound they left behind did not heal until he realized that not all relationships possess a true bond.
Harshness from an early age, and a sense of dignity that spared him from all needs. That was how Mr. Tasha was raised, and how he continued to develop through his childhood and youth until he became a man of significance.
"What a fun childhood." Mr. Tasha said, a look of comfort and a gentle smile on his face.
He did not dwell on the harshness of his experiences. He did not blame himself or life for them. He struggled through it all, knowing that neither he himself would support him if he fell, nor would life care.
This personality he had grown into made him capable and self-sufficient.
…
The episode of Tom and Jerry ended, and Mr. Tasha laughed.
He then stood up and stepped onto the balcony, gazing at the moon and the shining stars in the sky.
The breeze was light and calm, and Mr. Tasha felt lighter and more at ease.
Willpower was strength, and strength resided in character. Mr. Tasha had always been this way, and he had only grown stronger with time.
'Were my circumstances the reason for my emptiness? I don't think so… but they were enjoyable.' Mr. Tasha thought about his childhood for a moment, trying to understand more deeply.
Neither his childhood nor his youth had formed a barrier for him.
He had a foundation, and that foundation had been wrapped in growth.
That was the beginning of change, and his emptiness was the beginning of another change.
Mr. Tasha went to his room and fell into a deep sleep.
…
5:30 AM.
Mr. Tasha woke up to the sound of his alarm and went to wash his face.
He rose immediately, never returning to sleep for an extra five minutes, He did not follow that universal rule.
He changed into sportswear, put on his running shoes, and went out.
This was another step he had written down: changing his running schedule from twice a week to four times a week.
The cold air and the gentle sunrise made the morning refreshing, Mr. Tasha ran for nearly an hour.
When he returned home, he took a shower and prepared his breakfast, then picked up a book to begin reading, This had always been his routine after running.
Mr. Tasha read before sleeping and after returning from his runs, He believed that knowledge was a part of change, for it led to awareness.
He always sought knowledge not to illuminate it with his presence, but to be illuminated by it.
…
Mr. Tasha finished reading, changed into his work clothes, then went out and walked to his workplace.
He greeted everyone with a sincere smile and then headed to his office.
One of his steps was to innovate in his work and break its routine.
Mr. Tasha planned this carefully.
The foundation of all work was the employees, and he took good care of them, granting them the freedom to express their opinions.
This always led to good results and made them active in their work.
They all loved him for it.
It was commonly believed that one should never stand above their superior, or they would be dismissed for indirectly challenging authority.
But Mr. Tasha was skilled at dealing with foolish human emotions that often led to miserable outcomes.
That was why his carefully selected employees, consistent and harmonious, were unlike any others.
What Mr. Tasha chose now was a small change in working hours, reducing them by one hour.
He decided to announce it a week from now.
This, too, was a small change, one that would yield great results in the future.
